FYI, fasting is only recommended if you are getting labwork done (I work at a lab). Donating on an empty stomach is a BAD idea. Unless you like fainting...everyone has their preference ;) lol

I looked it up, since I'm a regular donor. One pint of donation = 600 calories ( I even add it to my activity log). As for what to eat....iron takes 2 weeks to make a difference in your circulating hemoglobin level, so it won't make any difference the night before. The day of donation, have lots of water and be sure to eat…

I've been on cymbalta a few years for anxiety disorder. The side effects were mostly gone for me after the first 2 weeks. It doesn't work for everyone, and each person is unique, but for me it's been life-changing. There are so many people that don't understand the realities of chemical imbalances in the brain, but used…

Hope you take the good to be found here and leave the bad ;) Best of luck to you.

Stick with it. This happens to all of us at some point or another. One pound won't undo the other 8 you've already lost.

WOW! Congrats. Your hard work shows :)

I had a small wedding in a public park, so my dress was a little more casual and tea length. I got it for $50 on clearance at White House Black Market and didn't need to get any alterations. So glad our day was debt-free ♥

Going to the gym helps me get in the "workout" mindset. Working out at home doesn't motivate me the same way (plus I don't have enough room). I think is amazing and wonderful that you have progressed so much on your own. Keep up the awesome work! Regardless of the calories in/and/or out, I'm sure you must be feeling a lot…

I'm having the same question.

Wow, you look fantastic. Added bonus: that color pink shirt on you is awesome. No more hiding in dark colors for you~!

I find I retain about 2-5 lbs of water during my period, so that may be it. Also, don't starve yourself. As hard as it may be, you have to be patient and lose slowly if you want the weight to stay off later.

Look at those stunning baby blues! Congrats and kudos :)

I've never understood why people get the jumbo-size implants. Carrying these puppies around is hard work!

Woohoo! I'm excited about this :) My hubby will be stoked that I'll be watching games with him now.

Thanks! Congrats on your achievements. You're very inspiring :)

Word to the wise....the 90 calorie fiber one brownie things are great for chocolate cravings ( I make mine extra better by warming them in the microwave). Best of luck, it WILL get better. Can't wait to see your future posts!

Hi Scott, Thanks for being brave enough to share your story. I'm inspired by you, as I imagine many others are as well. Please know that, although we've never met, there is someone else in Houston rooting for you and believing in you. Your son and your family deserve to have you around for a really long time. Even as your…

You're doing great and should be very proud. Keep it up :)

If I were you, I'd carry that last pic with your girl everywhere! Thanks for sharing and stay strong.

Fantastic news! Such a wonderful story....now to the babymaking fun! Best of luck and try not to stress yourself in the process.

Maybe you are a little extreme when you are "on". Try to make changes that you can stick with. If you think of it as a "diet" or exercise kick, you are more like to think "weight is off...I can stop now". Try to think of it more as a lifestyle change, not a temporary phase. Wish I could offer better advice, but that's all…

Love the extra sparkle in your eyes now.

My coworker brought me doughnuts the day after I announced my new dietary status (aka Diet). Stick to it! The same people will be the first ones to notice when the pounds start coming off. **** also, doggie bags at restaurants are your friend! They have helped me eat out without going nuts.

I'd do laser hair removal because: a - I've had it done and it is awesome! (I was in dire need) and b- no anesthesia involved in it....therefore less risk of death or infection or any other host of complications

Recognizing that you need to do something is the most important first step. Anyone that calls surgery the "easy way" has clearly never had surgery. Just make sure you get the proper support after the surgery to deal with the issues that drive you to your unhealthy choices. Best of luck

You are truly blessed. How wonderful that you have been able to support each other. For many of us, our other half isn't quite as committed to a healthy lifestyle and it makes the journey that much tougher. You guys look great! Congrats!
