You give a disabled widow more inspiration to keep on going. I've been battling so many things (seizures/strokes/lymphedema, just to name a few) but I will never give up. It is people like you and the rest of those on MFP that encourage others to keep on going, even if it is at a snail's pace. You are definitely proof that…

Guess we are all in the same boat, in one way or another. Just put a note by the computer that says...."Today is a NEW day - remember WHY you are doing this, so "Just Do It"!!

Major triumph!!

Absolutely fantastic Kaye...I am so happy for you.

You look absolutely amazing. As you say, thanks to the support of the other MFP members, and that with God's help all things are possible.

when in the kitchen the fridge started making a clatter; I dared not go in there for fear of getting fatter....

I've had two c-sections and still have numbness even though the last one was 19 years ago. And still have the saggy stomach, actually more as the more weight I lose, the more it sags. Ehhh, hopefully when I get down to where I want to be I will be able to get it to firm up some.

5'9 1/5"... I'm thinking 160 - 165 would be just fine.

You look absolutely fantastic...certainly a reminder to all of us to never give up!!

Have to admit your memo was funny but one pet peeve I have is people who take the time to use the paper protector to place on the seat and then leave it on there for the next person to dispose of. If they are so worried about getting someone else's germs, they should consider cleaning up after themselves when they are done…

Watched Heavy too last night. Loved the fact that it shows that (like MFP) people really can (and do) lose weight by having or acquiring a positive mindset, hard work, and determination. Even though they have the benefit of personal trainers and are able to just focus on themselves in a controlled environment for 30 days,…

It really is amazing how much younger you look (and most likely feel) after losing the weight; totally awesome!!

I don't know about carbs but I saw something about gluten and sugar and since my body is filled with pain as well, I'm seriously thinking about it.

I have to tell myself every single day that enough is enough as I don't want to lose sight of why I not only want, but need to lose weight. I know that a lot of the additional weight that I carry is in emotional baggage that I have to learn to get rid of as well as I am sure it has played a huge (pardon the pun) part in…

Lloyd that is so fantastic. The gift of life - you can't ask for anything better than that. Thanks for your motivating stories, they always lift me up when I'm down.

Now I wish I hadn't......should have covered my eyes:>

Well, mine definitely doesn't match...but i doubt that is too surprising in AZ when you only have to update your photo every 12 years.

Hi back:) You are now among friends who are all traveling the same road, so let's do it together!!

G'day Missi:) Glad to welcome you to MFP. You will find a lot of support and people willing to help you on the road ahead (as we are all on the same one:) So keep track of your food, drink your water, and take in all the support the community has to offer.
