I agree with Jonathan, my experience had been that they are not judging you, they were probably in your same position at some point. There's no reason you can't talk to the instructor. If you "are" at a gym where people are judging you for doing your best, I say find another gym. Dont give up because some people are…

You've probably expressed my feelings better than I could! I've had some bad months with my eating/exercise and can't wear any of my clothes from last summer and busted the buttons off my "larger" work pants. Im uncomfortable in my clothing and my body to say the least. Im back! I also need support. ;-) Sometimes I think…

Its an awesome goal! Add me as well :-D.

Wonderful job! I want to also get certifications for personal training in the future. I want to help people and show them it can be done!
-
Amazing job! Love seeing great results! Great to have a partner to help keep on track. Congratulations to you both and you'll never regret this choice!

I too think it's helpful to see it in black and white but I can understand where you are coming from. Don't give up on logging yet. I think it just takes time to get used to it. Soon you will figure out what to eat without feeling stress over it.

#18 To be a healthy example for my son and to love the way I look instead of being embarrassed to have my picture taken!

Depending on what you are eating, you may need to add more lean protein and less sugar and salt. You can try adding a protein (low calorie kind) shake to get more. Make sure you eat something small after exercise. My trainer always says yogurt or something like that after a workout is good.

I think we all have this feeling. I look back at pictures where I thought I looked ok...and think, wow, what was I thinking???? Good luck to you!

so awesome!!!! Great job!!!

holidays are always the hardest! Workout to offset the calorie intake. My goal is 26 lbs by the end of November to make my goal weight. That will make 82 lbs! I WILL make it! I hope! Lol Good luck to everyone!
-
that is awesome! I love mini goals! I do the same thing<3
-
We all need support! I'll send you a request.
-
look me up! I'm getting closer to my goal but I too had a long way to go at one point!
-
Awesome story! You look GREAT! Hope to be at my goal by November which will be VERY close to your same goal and start. Sometimes I need this extra motiviation to get through these last 30 lbs!

Sign up and you will have that as something to look forward to. You won't regret it, as everyone said, everyone is supportive. I did my first one in 38 min, had never even ran a mile at one time, lol. I have another o e I'm signing up for in August. I hope to improve my time, but if I dont? Who cares? I'm doing this for me…

My trainer told me to eat about half my weight in protein (g).....I'm not a doctor, and neither is she, but it seems to work for me.

Cont......encouragement you need! Hang in there!

Everyone has great suggestions! Small goals, I have been doing 10 lb goals. Maybe you want to start with 5 lbs in a month or maybe 3 seems. Follow the guidelines mfp is giving you for food intake. Make smart choices, choose one thing each week that you could do better. And finding a local buddy to help you be accountable…

Maybe you can ask one of your friends that's bringing the coolers to grab you a chicken breast and some turkey hotdogs or something like that. We also packed salad a few weeks ago when we went camping. Is someone bringing eggs for breakfast? Make some sort of breakfast scramble with eggs lunchmeat and veggies... Make sure…

you look great!!!! Way to go!

Everyone has great suggestions! Make sure you eat "something" every 2 hours, then when you have your meal you aren't as hungry as you would have been if you waited 4 hours! Now the "something" can be lots of stuff people suggested, like a boiled egg, how about cottage cheese or lowfat yogurt? All of these have protein.…

I was told to eat half my body weight in protein a day. So, I do kind of the same, protein powder, cottage cheese, yogurt...I eat them everyday.
-
I love them but they are not something I would suggest eating often if you are looking for a lifestyle diet change. Way too much added sugar, go for something with natural sugar instead. Or try eating more protein if you are hungry.
-
Wow.. I don't even know what to say to something like that!
-
Oh and it has 25 g of protein hence the name...lol
-
I use the GNC Lean Shake 25, the cookies and cream is yummy! But if you want just the protein powder, I know GNC has those too.
-
That's great! And P.S., 18 lbs IS A LOT! ;)
-
I am what I call "addicted to my scale"...lol I guess this is why they say just weigh once a week or less! But I do weigh everyday, one day I'll be up a pound, then suddenly I'm down 4 lbs. I think its water retention too. I think when people are saying to not weigh the day after, they are referring to weight lifting or…
