  • Na, I used the term skeletal strength, he actually said my frame is not built for heavy lifting, and that the weight was causing my shoulders to dislocate. It has not slipped out of joint, the bones have just shifted down and forward in my right shoulder, causing a nasty pinched nerve feeling to run down my arm. I think it…
  • Thank you for responding, I have been working on my stabilizers. I will look into it a bit more though. How did you have your shoulder fixed?
  • If you are feeling drained you might need a boost of Iron or B vitamins. I would recommend a shot of Floridex for a couple of days till your energy levels come back up.
  • Yep! What Summer said!

  • Hands down most painful was in my right arm pit. I have a lotus that takes up the entire pit. I tell people it felt like a rabid cat let loose with a chain saw! Hahaha. I was going to have both pits done, but well... Other than that my right arm ditch sucked pretty bad, and the elbow was a beast. My wrists dont hurt…
  • Neither.
  • Oh, do I ever know what you are talking about! I was diagnosed with IBS several years ago, and just the thought of taking a jog around the block makes me want to find a bathroom! I think it is the combination of heat and just the fear of not having a bathroom. Basically your nerves trigger your intestines to rapid fire, so…
  • The bump you are describing sounds like a keloid. I would go to a reputable piercer and have them take a look at it.
  • There is a huge Maine hoop community! Just a bit north of you Maria randolph heads up HoopME. She is always putting together some sort of workshop, or hoop jam! She would also be able to tell you where to find the hoopers in Portland. Hhoopmeonline.com Welcome to the circle!
  • i ran away with the circus cuz there's still some honest work left for bearded ladies since they put everyone in jail except the cleavers and the bradys Ani Difranco- Tis of thee
  • I switch up 20 min HIIT, nrolfw, elevated leg lifts, butterflies, and back extensions, 3 yoga sun salutations with modifications on last 3. 20 min HIIT, 3 sun salutations, headstands, and handstands ( this is for my rest days) I absolutely go the gym every other day for lifting, but if Icant make it on the in between days…
  • More than likely water being retained in your muscle. Give your body a bit of time to readjust. Drink plenty of water, and keep up the good work. Cn you tell a difference in your body other than what the scale is telling you? As a woman, I tend to put on a mysterious 3-5 pounds of weight about a week before my period, so…
  • Yes to this. It is a belly dance chest isolation. You will find it helps to work on isolating your upper body motion. Keeping your lower half still will keep the hoop under control. I like to lift my elbows out a bit also to give the hoop a ledge of sorts to ride on. And I will third summers recommendation to spin in…
  • I am not sure why there is a fuss over the cup. It is very easy to use. I have used mine for years. I don't empty it in a public bathroom, so there are no "Oh my gah" moments. I couple it with a Glad Rag on my heavy first days, just in case. I highly recommend the cup, if for no other reason than the saving of money on…
  • I use small weight lifting gloves. They work pretty good for grip. If the weight is too heavy for your grip, you may want to do some strength exercises that focus on the muscles in your hands and forearms. Keep on rocking those deadlifts! 95 is AWESOME!!
  • I am in love with deadlifts!!! But for some reason I cant keep my right leg from wanting to shake out from underneath me when I am fully extended. Deadlifts, squats, and lunges....recipe for total badassery!
  • I have to replace the ball crunches with hanging leg lifts. I cant do a crunch without feeling the urge to vomit, so... I know it is a different exercise all together, but it is what I can do with what I have for the time being. I add reps to my lifts, and will start to add weights to my ankles for resistance.
  • Thank you soooooo much! I ended up coming home to do my ball crunches today. I asked the manager at my gym why we didnt have them, and he said for lack of space : { Oh well... I will look up the Pallof press! Thank you once again!!!!
  • They don't have valsludes or trx, but how about the ab wheel? They have those. Would a reverse slide work? Sorry to be such a bother gals. I really would like to get the whole work out done at the gym, so I can log and be done with it for the day.
  • I have one at home, but not at the gym. Do you think it would matter if I did most of my workout then finished it at home with the ball? I would hate to have to lug this thing to the gym! I'll check and see if they have the machines you mentioned. Thanks for the info y'all!
  • I actually don't know what that is. Do they mix that also? Or just the way I said something?
  • 1-2 scoops of protein powder 1 cup of Almond milk 1 cup of coffee 10 icecubes 1 banana blend blend blend YUM!!!!!!!
  • I dont think I have ever heard anyone growl while lifting, but it is humorous to read this and look at your profile pic. at the same time. hehehe. I think in the right setting growling could be sexy. Not so sure about at the gym.
  • Id like to see that one! Is that sort of like a step through, with a turn?? And about the kick start, it is sort of like when you would play skip with hoops when we were kids. once the negative space in the hoop comes around step in with your left leg quickly and with your right foot give it a little kick straight up. That…
  • When I am outside I prefer barefoot. But inside I use lyrical dance thongs. They are leather straps that slide over the ball of your foot.
  • Krissypea79, Thank you to the ends of the earth and back! I couldnt wrap my head around it until I printed the spread sheets! They are fantastic! Thank you so much!!!!!!! <3
