I was told to try soy sauce once as it's salty and is a liquid... I tried it and personally didn't like it, as it was too strong and only the odd piece got some on it, but maybe if you had it in a diffuser spray bottle....?! Just a thought!

Maybe you need a little more variety... Some days you are eating up to 12 portions of fruit and veg... I have been told that too much fruit and veg can upset your system, but I don't know how true this is. I am around 6 portions a day...

For me, everytime I have 'junk food' my body plays up now. It never used to because I had normalised it so much. But now, I get stomach cramps and indigestion etc if I have a 'bad day'. This is interesting... I also have PCOS and sometimes I swear the scales have a mind of their own! I can do all the right things, the right ways and be heading in the right direction, and then it goes in complete reverse! Maybe it's my body and stupid PCOS rather than the scales...!

Hmmm... according to this I should be eating around 950 calories a day and losing less than I am... I'm not convinced there is a formula for this kind of thing as everyone is so different and each body is different... Maybe it's just my body that's weird!

^ tell me about it! I remember when I first joined there was a post saying how expensive it was to eat healthily and everyone was disagreeing and I thought I was just going mad! Especially with shops like Iceland close by, where you can get a pizza for £1... spending 40 times that on fruit and veg a week has made my bank…

Am I missing something? She started at 176lbs and is now 14lbs away from 129, meaning she is 143.... That's a loss of 33lbs.....?! Not that that's bad, that's amazing, just not what people are saying....

Age is just a number and all that; it's about your maturity level and they're the ones being immature in this situation, so I don't think they're in a position to judge! Good luck with the pregnancy!

Also, if you did make the choice to cut it out, then cold turkey may not be the way to go.... If you're worried about content; don't be. Coffee has next to nothing calories and fat. Just be careful of any milk/cream/sugar you add in, but at least you get your caffeine hit even with just black coffee!

Thanks both- didn't think of generic aerobics- I've always searched for step and the lowest is 6-8inch, so that would be majorly cheating!! At my local gym, there's a machine which is like a bike for your arms... not sure what it's called or how 'cardio' it is... I know it helped build up my arm muscles too.... How about lying on your back and cycling your legs? No pressure on your feet, but same kind of movement.... Hope you get better soon!

I'm also having the same worry... I love the idea and I'm a real gadget type person... It's just the price that puts me off. Other than syncing, what's so good about this over other pedometers?! Saying that, I have just added it as a treat when I reach my first target, which I am nearly half way towards!!

I have recently turned to smoothies too - and they're so much more filling!! Similar recipes as the ones above... Though citrus doesn't bode well- comes out too bitty for me! Thanks for the website- I shall be favouriting that!
