You are not putting on muscle, the scale is not moving because your body in is starvation mode. You will not lose if you continue to eat 600-700 calories a day. You need ti eat 1200 calories a day AND you must, let me say it again, must eat back your exercise calories. If you eat below 1200 calories a day your body will…

If you do a google search you will find so many articles that link diet sodas to a host of negative side effects, including obesity. The other negative effect that it has on your body is dehydration due to the caffeine and artificial sweetner's making your weight loss more difficult. Dump the diet sodas and good luck. This…

Here is one my favorite meals. Something I have when I have extra calories. I do a trader joes turkey burger, orowheat thin bun, low cal cheese, grilled onions and whatever fixings you like. I then bake trader joes sweet potato fries. I love this meal so much and can honestly say I like it better than a restaurant Buger…

I am interested as I have also hit a plateau. I just posted an article on the effects of sugar and high fructose corn syrup and fat. So I will also be eliminating them for two weeks to see is that breaks through the plateau. I am going shopping today.

Good for you. And when you think about what most of our cycles are with food, the reality is that while it would have felt good in the moment you would have felt awful after you ate it. It takes awhile but there does come a time when you get so used to eating healthy and you get accustomed to the portion sizes that huge…

I am starting today and would love to network with others who are doing the program as well. I am a little unclear on which weights I should be using and how long one should stay on each level but I am sure that will easy to figure out. Please friend me if you are doing the program and let's stay motivated together.

In my previous tries with losing weight I would not eat anything that felt like a treat, but then I would binge and get off track. I now have a skinny cow treat or something similar most days and that has helped so much in creating a new mind set towards food. It does not feel like dieting but a new way of like with…

I can run 2 miles and am on my way to being able to run a 5k. This is huge for me, I never thought I would be able to run. I look forward to exercise rather than dread it.

This what keeps me going. Thank you for posting your progress and helping to inspire. Great job!

I am obsessed with Rocco Dispirito's cookbook...."Now eat this". He has taken high calorie meals and turned them into tasty low calorie versions. Nothing over 350 calories per serving. I have loved everything I have made. Trying the cheesy enchiladas tonight.

So glad you are here Jess. It is really so important to log the food. It is amazing how much the little stuff adds up. Also being able to see the sodium, cards, protein, etc really helps you make better choices. At first it can be tedious but just commit to do it and it will become addicting. Make you food diary public,…
