I've only been doing this for about a week, but I know that for me it's best to weigh in once a week. I also measure once a week. A good way to overcome the constant weighing is to just put the scale away in a cabinet or somewhere out of sight. As they say, "Out of sight, out of mind". Just as long as you have a reminder…

I have severe chronic pain, which is similar. I've gained so much weight from meds and inability to exercise. What I do is take my time. Even if I can only do 5 min at a time, I take a break until I'm well enough to start again. Throughout the day, I'm able to slowly reach my exercise goal. To cope with the pain, sometimes…
