Donuts make me gag. Even just the smell of them when walking past a bakery makes my stomach turn.

I know fishermen who refuse to eat tilapia. They find it in the nastiest, dirtiest water.

Not sure what kind of guidance you are really looking for, but the only way to reduce your carb intake is to reduce your portions (duh, right?). I'm not a fan of "substitutes" in the style of using cauliflower for pizza crust etc. However, there are many options of thin-sliced breads, flat-breads or sandwich thins that you…

Spring greens, grilled chicken, blanched broccoli, tomatoes, shredded carrots, sliced cucumber, and dried cranberries. I use ranch dressing on it YUM!!

You can add me, just leave a message re: you're a competitor. I"m currently 16 weeks out from my 3rd show.

They will not make you lose belly fat. They will make your waist *appear* smaller TEMPORARILY, so if you're going to be in a show or a pageant, it can help create a certain appearance for just that one day. But as soon as you stop using the contraptions, your waist will go back to it's original shape and size.

I like my upper body! My shoulders are broad, my back is ripped, and I've been working to put more muscle on my arms and shoulders. I'm getting to that "wonderwoman", statue-esque look and I love it! It makes me feel powerful to LOOK powerful

Eggs and egg whites are an awesome source of protein. It's not plant-based, but a nice alternative to meats when you need protein. There's a lot of ways to cook them, they're easy and quick to prepare, and you can even buy pasteurized egg whites and use those raw in smoothies.

When people walk too closely behind me and step on my flip-flop...the good old "flat tire"....infuriating!!

Choose a calorie goal. Eat at that level for a week, and see what happens. If you don't lose enough, bring your calories down. Lose too much, eat more. Simple.

Check out bodybuilding dot com, they have lots of different programs to choose from, including some that are home-based workouts. They are all free. I've used several of their programs, and liked all of them, but I do my workouts at the gym so I can't point you towards a specific one I liked, as it wouldn't be what you're…

I love this look on a woman, I strive for upper-body definition and mass myself. I don't know if it's "bulky", that's not a term I really use. I know that this look is "too much" muscle for many people's taste. But who cares? I love it!!

I had a very-overweight person tell me last week that I shouldn't be steaming my green beans because it kills all the nutrients in them, therefore making them "as bad as junk food".

As you can see, there's a HUGE difference in prices depending on where you live. I live in southern CA and I pay $69 a month for what is a mediocre gym with old equipment. If you want amenities like a pool or tennis courts, then you will be paying around $150 per month in my town. That's what the market is here...there's…

99% of "stevia" products are actually a tiny bit of stevia blended with sugar alcohols, which is what really lends the sweet flavor. Stevia on its own has a bitter aftertaste that most people don't like. Just so you know.

I'm a type 2 diabetic trying to gain muscle! To gain muscle, you need a *slight* excess of calories along with a good lifting plan. People with no blood-sugar issues generally set their protein and fat #s and keep them steady, then increase/decrease their carb intake to adjust their calorie levels based on their current…

Yes, she's talking about using a corset. Modern-day women are using corsets and calling it "waist training". It does work, surprisingly, to lessen the circumference of your waist and give that hourglass shape (only so long as you keep using the corset fairly regularly). There are some slight risks to it, but women have…

Ice cream with crushed oreos and chopped reese's with whipped cream....aaaaannndd now the cravings are setting in....darn.

Actually, both of these are very normal things to do...sometimes people use equipment in an "alternate" way to target a muscle differently, or target a different muscle altogether. Both of these exercises are to work the glutes, and both work very well...

That's not enough calories, as you are already aware. If you feel full quickly, then you'll have to eat calorie-dense foods to get in more calories and nutrients with less bulk. Try foods that are high in fat like nuts, protein items that also have a decent amount of fat (think about marbled steaks, not lean cuts, salmon…

There's a guy who participates in the hot yoga at our gym wearing only some sort of diaper-like wrap thing. It does NOT cover the essentials. Bleeeecchhh....*shudder*

If it's a serious amount of loose skin, then you may not be able to do anything about it other than a tummy tuck (ie surgery). But if it's just a little loose, then I would recommend a) continue using your cocoa butter that you used throughout your pregnancy (you did, right?). My youngest is almost 4, and I still slather…

Fresh mango (slices or in a smoothie) does wonders for a hangover. I think it's all of the B vitamins....

Dump the whiner. Ain't nobody got time for that. Take your walk then have some coffee or tea. Avoid the cookie- you're back on the market, gotta get down to fighting weight!

If you've stalled out, then you need to change something. My first guess is that your cheat day is WAY bigger than you think it is. I would start by getting rid of the cheat day. Work your "cheat" foods and treats into your plan and stay within your calorie goal every day. If that doesn't get the scale moving, then you're…

I wouldn't call them "shame clothes", but items that don't fit (too big OR small) or things I don't have use for right now (ie business suits) but I want to keep it for one reason or another, I packed into space bags, vaccuumed them down and stored them on the shelf in my closet.

Raspberries, especially if they are made into a syrup or "drizzle"..*GAG* Ack, I can't even think about it without gagging a little. Awful!

I'm guessing that the 35ml is a dry volume, and the 62ml is a cooked volume (hence being included in the preparation instructions). Rice roughly doubles when cooked, so that would make sense-ish. ISH.
