Wow! Congratulations! I bet you feel amazing! :-)

I have skimmed through the comments and am glad to see that people aren't knocking coffee! I drink a lot of coffee (4 to 6 mugs a day), most of the time with sugar. A couple years ago I reduced my REGULAR Pepsi intake and realized that the sugar intake in coffee was not nearly as much as the sugar in pop. I found a local…

4' 9 1/2"! I love being short! :-)

I think it's great to change it up! I'm alternating NMTZ & Extreme Shred along with running. I was wondering what the 6 pack workout was like and also Killer buns & thighs. Let me know what you think! :-)

Okay, well that is awesome to know. Maybe that will be the next DVD I try! Thank you for the input. :-)

I loved the challenge of this DVD. Level 2 is super intense and I could not handle some of the moves, like the plank jacks (killer!). I got this DVD in December 2012 and have done a few times here and there. I'm also doing No More Trouble Zones and running on the treadmill. :-)

I was only able to start losing weight when I dropped my caloric intake to 1200 calories. I'm 4'9" like you and 38 years old. It took me 16 weeks to lose 16#. Of course, we may have different metabolism levels so you could experiment one week at a time with different caloric amounts. I found that upping my water intake has…

Super amazing job! Congratulations! :-)

I'm 4'9" (so SUPER short!). I work full-time at a desk job and started my weight loss journey August 1st. My intake goal has been 1200 calories a day and this has been all the difference! I was realistically eating about 2000 per day before and was at 120ish pounds. I am at 107# now, so averaging 4# per month. What I am SO…

We are both 4'10"! How fun! Yah, I think the guidelines are unrealistic, don't you? I would look anorexic I think if I got that skinny.

I love short people and I love being short! :-) I am 4'10", late 30's and have recently reached my heaviest weight - 120ish pounds. (Ugh!) My goal weight is 105#, but I am still wondering if I should make it 100#. Before having kids I was always in the 90# range. It's nice seeing everyone's posts. I think when you are as…

You can totally do it! :-)

It is all mental. You can totally do it if you set your mind to do it ... plus you are already an active and fairly fit person. Good luck! :-)

Awesome job! My husband always tells me that the only way to get rid of the soreness is to exercise more. So your soreness should go down soon. Believe it or not, jumping jacks has been a toughie for me, too. Since last year I can finally do these. It has been hard because my body (like most women) has changed since having…

Hello, all! I finished Level 1 (10-day) over the weekend. My progress after 10 days was that I lost one pound and lost one inch off my waist! I also notice that the back fat is going down and my obliques are beginning to show. :-) Keep up the good work, everyone!
-
I took a rest day, too in between and began Level 2 yesterday! Good luck to you! Only 1/3 of the way til the finish!
-
Awesome job! I am on Level 2 also now! I am enjoying the different plank moves! :-) Good luck to you!

In addition to the 30 Day Shred ..... I do a long run on Saturdays and try to do 2 short runs (3 miles) during the week. I am planning to do a half marathon in October. I also have a history of sciatica (lower back pain) so I do my therapy stretches and lower back strengthening exercises 2 to 3 times a week.

Hi, everyone! It has been fun seeing everyone's posts from all around the world! :-) I'm from Michigan and, as my user name denotes, I'm "into scrapping" (scrapbooking). I work full-time, have two kids and am trying to have an overall healthier lifestyle. I am on Day 2 of the 30-day Shred! :-) Adele

Interesting! Thx for the input!

Thanks! Good to know. :-)

Wow, thanks for the info. I've been thinking about looking into the Paleo diet, too. But basically, yah, clean eating and a healthy lifestyle is what it's all about! :-)

Yah, I don't know which is why I created this post. You could read through everyone's comments; there is positive and negative feedback. I think you should try different things out to see what works for you. Good luck! :-)

Yah, I do not know ... that's why I made this post to see what has or hasn't worked for others. If you read through everyone's responses you'll hear positive and negative input. I think you just gotta try different things out to see what works for you. Good luck! :-)

Yes, for sure ... and all your information about the different races is quite intriguing ....
-
It was a very informative reply. Thank you. :-)
-
Thank you! Never heard of that .... Will look into it!
-
Isn't that interesting?!? :-) Thanks for your input!
-
That is so interesting ... I will have to read up on that ... But also, I think this whole Eat For Your Blood Type thing is not just for weight loss, but to avoid illnesses and stuff. So wouldn't there have to be some type of chemistry or science involved in all that? Unfortunately, science is not my strong subject ....…

Yes, true .... :-)
