I hit 170Lbs. I did not like to see that number on the scale. I joined MFP back in May and did it for about 20 days.. logging only but no exercise. The weight did not come off as fast as I wanted, but honestly I was not 100% committed. In August, I was still at 170 and at one point the scale hit 175 (i think.. I have some…

I think people generally want friends who are actively participating and are sharing a common goal. I wish you much success. Its hard work, but after the…

Hi.. welcome to MFP... I have to be straight forward and let you know, this isnt the place for a quick fix. If you started to watch your intake, reduce procesed sugar intake, increase your water intake and seriously work out hard at least 3-4 days per work, you can see a difference in 26 days. That being said, make a…

Sue, I am Tara and welcome to this site. I have never been obese nor have I had issues with being "fat". What I have experience is weight gain after pregnancy and some belly fat. I can't say, I know what you are going through because thankfully I have never been in a place where, I allowed food to control my life. What I…

I have to admit, I was in your shoes a few year ago... right out of grad school. I worked as a receptionist then. Over the years, it took a bit of job hopping to find my "fit". Try switching lanes. The idea is to find a job thats ideal for you and if this one has you crying in the bathroom and experiencing panic attacks,…

Awesome. Congrats to you. I can't wait to have that feeling. Good luck with getting down to a 6. I am currently a size 8.. but over the last year Ive been a snug to tight size 8. Shameful. Anyway, since the end of August, I have been busting my butt. I have lost 8lbs and on my way to back to being a comfortable size 8.

You are beautiful... so finding the person you are to be with will not be too challenging. To get through the hurt, try to think you YOUSELF. how will over eating affect you? how will you feel after ben and jerry has left you on the couch? dont invite pity to stay over longer than a day... he will try to get comfortable…

wow... once you have committed yourself to a cause, you can make anything happen. I would have never considered starbucks to be the food of choice for a diet. This woman made it happen for herself... good for her.
