  • Hi there, I'd be glad to offer support and advice. I will try to help you the best that I can. If you ever need anything just msg me privately, or add me as a friend. I have a small group of June starters and another person who is an MFP tenured member. Take care and good luck! You can do it.
  • The meds and deep breathing work wonders for me but I have had extensive biofeedback and other cognitive therapies. You have to find something that you can focus on when you begin feeling an attack coming on. Also, if you notice after a while that you are still having them even with taking medication you may need to change…
  • use sugar free vanilla ice cream instead of ice....omit the chocolate unless you really like mocha flavor...hazelnut is usually overpowered by chocolate..it is a very delicate flavor....also try powdered cappuccinos(hills bros, international cafe) etc in place of coffee.... I am an official coffee lover and…
  • Hi, I was just wondering what is PAC's??
  • I am all about not taking supplements but they swear by them. I am not sure about taking them though because everything I have read says they interfere with Paxil. And I can't stop taking that!
  • I was at the doctor with my father ( I take care of him) and I had my six year old daughter with me. She grabbed ahold of my stomach fat and said, "Mommy you have this because you eat too much!" I was sooo embarrassed!

  • Thanks, havingitall!! You hit it right on the nose. Real food is better than all these supplements people swear by. You want to be more regular, eat more fiber! Drink prune juice! You want to clean out your body, drink water and cranberry juice! Good luck! I would never in my life spend 2 cases of diapers on some protein…
  • Hello there, I don't want to seem pushy or mean or too nosy but I think you should look into talking to someone about your problem. People may not think it is serious, but it really is. I would be glad to talk to you anytime, and help you find someone to talk to if you'd like. You might have an eating disorder that is just…
  • Your body needs sodium, especially if you tend to do heavy workouts. In fact, when you work out you should try to replace the sodium your body releases through sweat with a low calorie electrolyte drink instead of water. High intakes of sodium, more than 2500 are not recommended because a consistent high sodium diet…
  • Walking, swimming, and strength training at least 4 times a week for 60-75 minutes each time.
  • Do you mean baby sleeping on the tummy??My son refuses to sleep any other way...Guilty as charged..hehe
  • Do you see that gut of mine? I call it soda gut....lol
  • I confess that I drink way too much soda for someone who is trying to be healthy. It's worse than those damn cigs to kick!!
  • Iam sorry to hear about what happened to your car. Don't worry about those jealous people. Remember, what goes around comes around!
  • I don't think you should cut your calories for just one day of this routine. If you are just sleeping in late then just adjust your meals for later times in the day. I'm not sure that you should cut your calories just because you slept in. Does anyone else know anything about this?
  • That's a great question...I have the same problem...Do you stay up extra late though?
  • That's great advice. Pills are so bad for you. It is better to lose weight naturally. If you do feel the need to use a supplement try protein shakes, or even FDA approved ALLI. Your body really doesn't need these but they are much better than pills. Take care of yourself!!
  • Thanks...I wasn't sure...The box doesn't give you two different nutritionals so it must plan on you using water..

  • LOL...sorry Does your mother in law hate you??
  • It is used by cells in the body. The cells turn fat stored in adipose tissue into energy. It is literally "burned off". Another way that the body gets rid of fat is through feces. But this can only happen if you are taking a supplement like ALLI. The body does not lose much fat through bowel movements. You can cross…
  • I have a friend like this. I love her to death but she eats fast food every day like three times a day. It makes me sick. She also wonders why she can't lose weight, and is always broke. But I guess thats what friends are for, we don't judge! Offer to have a day where you can cook together, is your friend into cooking…
  • I love you outllook and the way you chose to lose weight. Sometimes it is more about attitude than calories. It's pretty inspirational, thank you. I wish you the best of luck. You are proving to so many that weight loss is not impossible.
  • Hey, that's awesome. I think I'm gonna try to slowly cut down my daily intakes. I have some high blood pressure issues.
  • I'm up for it if you are. I have recently joined and I'm enjoying my first 7 lbs lost. I eat a healthy variety of foods and exercise regularly. I think I can lose 20 lbs by the end of August.
  • That is not enough for you. Please remember that our bodies need fat, carbs, and protein to burn calories. Your carb intake should be between 150-250 per day depending on your total caloric intake. Protein can go up to about 100 d day, and fats should be about 30 to 40. A person that eats a 2000 calorie diet normally eats…
  • The secret is to learn what your calories are coming from. Caloric energy comes from fat, proteins and carbohydrates. These can be broken down into groups. A person can eat 2500 calories a day and not feel guilty. I wouldn't recommend it all the time but you can do physical activity to burn off the extra calories. Don't…
  • You are not eating enough food. This is why you're hungry. How many calories is that breakfast? Eating about 1500 to 1800 calories a day is fine for you. You can even eat 2000 if you like. What is more important is what you are eating. Eating healthy foods and making sure that you are getting enough carbohydrates and…
  • I know that the recommendation might say to eat 1200, but that may not be enough calories for your body. What is more important is to eat healthy foods and exercise at least 4 times a week. Walking is the best exercise. Also, make sure you are consuming enough water. Drinking plenty of water will help you lose weight.…
