I always use the average of the two. I take the calories the machine says, add the calories MFP says and divide by two...maybe not scientific but has to be close... :-)

Don't let a couple of bad choices ruin your effort. When you fall off the wagon, pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and keep going. Start back right now. Take things one day at a time and sometimes one hour at a time. Before you know it, it will be a year later and you can do great things!

I think you have the right idea. You have to work with what you have. If you can't change the foods you eat, eat less of them. Get as much physical activity as you can. Some is better than none. Walk 35 minutes nightly this week, push it to 45 next week. Then maybe jog some of the time. Keep adding as you are able.

I made these the past two weekends. I just use spice cake mix and pumpkin and an extra dash of pumpkin pie seasoning. No extra water. I use a spoon to put them on a cookie sheet and bake at 350 for 30 minutes. For me it makes around 28 but I guess it depends on how big you make them. They are more like cake bites than…

Love Quinoa and search for a new recipe to try weekly. An easy and much loved is just sautee onions, mushrooms, garlic. Boil quinoa in chicken broth instead of water. When done mix with the sauteed items. Very yummy and easy. Great sidedish with grilled chicken.

I love Turkey bacon because it is crisp. I hate the gross slimy fat all over regular bacon and don't see the point either.
