• You need at least 600 calories for your muscular system, and another 600 calories for your brain/nervous system to maintain. If you eat less than that, your body will eat its muscle and/or fat for the deficit in calories. You are probably a skinny-fat (no muscle). Talk to your doctor.
• Anything by DJ Doboy just about. This is one of my favorites... you can separate the mp3 from the video to download onto your choice of player. :-) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cU1NaY4nhSI
• A great Chiropractor is one way for really stiff back muscles. Another way is to do "Good Mornings" without any weights, nice and slow, feet shoulder-width apart, with your hands behind your head/neck, as you keep your eyes staring at the ceiling as you bend. Emphasis - go slow. This will also stretch your hamstrings and…
• In other words, one cup of muscle weighs more than one cup of fat? ;-)
• You gained muscle weight. Try lowering your Caloric Intake a bit more, and use the machine another 20 minutes if possible. Give yourself one month, and you will see changes! :-)
• Ask them, "Hey, what's YOUR body-fat percentage?!?!?!" ...and just smile! ;-)
• I've never seen a FAT professional swimmer. Keep it up! It tones every muscle in your body and improves your lung capacity. Oxygen burns fat. ;-)
• Yes. So far, my wife and I have used it together. The weeks where we use T25 I lose about 3/4 pound of Fat, while probably gaining a little bit of muscle at the same time. If *I* don't use it and stick with Diet alone, I maintain. One thing that helps is starting off really slow just to get all your muscles used to it. So,…
• The T25 Videos might be what you need then. You have to start off really slow. Once you get the hang of it, then go hard, and you will see good results in no time. Your skin should bounce back quite a bit.
• I had one question about dehydration, which is the primary reason my Ideal Protein coach told me to stay off coffee while I was in what is called Phase 1. 213Tim above cited lots of articles, which make sense I think, if you are drinking 3 gallons of cheap coffee every day. Also, I just read an article about the Bullet…
• That sounds awesome. Just ANY protein powder??? Which one do you use???
• As for coffee being very acidic, yes, that's definitely true. My wife can't drink coffee because of that, and it messes with her intestines really quickly. This is one of the reasons why I do the 1 tablespoon of lemon juice in 16 ounces of water every morning - to stay somewhat alkaline. I prep one for my wife too. ;-)
•
To the original poster, I guess I was not fair... Enjoy the coffee if it helps but like most here are saying try to cut back on the sugar and creamer)
213Tim - Thanks for the links. As I mentioned in my original post, I use Sugar Free, low-cal, low-carb Coffee Creamer. I do log everything I eat and drink.…
• When I did the Ideal Protein Diet, my weight-loss coach said "NO COFFEE" because it would dehydrate me too much, and I would have to drink more water to compensate, which could mess up my electrolytes. I'm back on coffee now. I do the Sugar-Free Coffee Mate French Vanilla, log every Calorie, and at the end of the day still…
• I don't know what is *supposed* to be bad about coffee during a diet - perhaps the "dehydration"??? However, when I did the Ideal Protein Diet, my weight-loss coach said "NO COFFEE". I just followed the rules without asking why and lost weight through Ketosis. But I'm back on coffee now. I do the Sugar-Free Coffee Mate and…

• She could try walking every day. Even a moderate walk will raise her metabolism. 40 minutes per day for six days per week should have her on track to losing at least 3/4 of FAT per week. This way, she could raise her caloric intake with proteins, not feel hungry, and still lose FAT. She should slam 16 ounces of water + one…
• Try to be strict on all your meals six days per week, and reserve ONE MEAL on your seventh day to eat anything you want - usually the bad Carbs. Don't pig out though. If you give yourself this one break per week, you will see that this really helps psychologically. ;-)
• Ya, what program? If it's good for women, my wife would love to try it! ;-)
• Try Kirkland's Natural Psyillium Husk Fiber - 1 tablespoon with 16 ounces of water - every single morning. You sort of have to slam it. It will clean the *crap* out of your stomach, and the fiber also helps lose body fat. Your gut will feel lighter, and it may help you sleep better.
• Yes! It sure does. You will be much more flexible, and will have more stamina. Best of all, you sleep better! Don't give up!
• The context of where you wear what you wear is obviously important. You wouldn't wear to a meeting with your boss what you wear to the gym, unless you have a poor sense of etiquette and modesty. Sometimes, people wear stupid and inappropriate clothing. So if looking nice while maintaining the respect of others is important…
• Have you consulted your doctor? Are you on Meds? My Mom has to take Thyroid Meds, and that would really mess with her metabolism if she did not have the right dose, and right diet - that's why I ask about Meds. Maybe doing a slow muscle workout could help you. I have seen people lose lots of body fat on just Yoga, but if…
• Hi Diliad30 - I have tried it several times. It works great. You have to really follow the recipe and protocol exactly as stated. I cleanse all the time, but when I do the Master Cleanse, the really, really bad stuff that you never thought you had in you ALL comes out! When you are done with it, you simply have to eat as…
• An old proverb states, "The fruit of the Spirit is self-control".
• Never heard of the Alternate Plan. I've done IP before, but always bought their expensive meals. Can someone point me to this Alternate Plan???
• Hi SoccerGurl01, Have you ever tried the Spartacus Workout? It's FREE and you can do this in your living room. This will help you build more muscle, and still keep you lean. Here is the jpg file which shows you the exercises. I couldn't attached the mp3 music file because it's huge, but you can still get it this way...…
• Start using weights. You can be 103 and still be "fat" and "flabby". They are called "skinny-fat". Once you start using weights, you will gain muscle. Muscle is better than fat, no matter how much you weigh (with-in reason). :-)
