Actually that translates as Sugar A, Sugar B, Sugar C. I know, upsetting isn't it? Also watch out for anything on the label ending "-ose" as other forms of sugar. Is 170 calories low for a sugar treat? Seems high to me (but then I've been raiding the kids treat bags a lot recently)

All kids like not being forced to sit at the table to eat something that someone else has told them to eat. It's ALL about independence and boundary pushing at this age. Your son is two. Also for onion soup you need to cook the onions low & slow, not just a quick 5 min sweat off. Lid on & keep them going for 40 mins - an hour. Make sure you don't let them burn, stir often, enough oil to keep things moving.

Eh? A deficit of 500 is NOT very close to maintenance for a lot of women. a 500 calorie deficit for me is almost a 30% decrease. That's doable but pretty tough.
