  • I removed the sugar counter from my view. It was driving me crazy. I eat lots of natural fruit. I also use Sweet n Low, Splenda, Stevia, whatever is handy and I don't have any unusual sugar cravings.

  • I like all of the brands, Lean Cuisine, Healthy Choice, Smart Ones, Michelina Light and Lean. But not every day, just a few times a week. And I usually open a can of green beans or quickly cook some spinach or have a salad with it. There are just times when they are exactly what I feel like eating!
  • Drinking 1 or 2 glasses of water as soon as you wake up gets your organs going. Not sure about the lemon but it couldn't hurt! Maybe add a little artifiicial sweetener to it. (unless you are anti-artificial sweetener). I make my own lemonade at restaurants like that.
  • I use a lot of saccharine (Necta Sweet tablets). I use Splenda occasionally and also Truvia occasionally. I don't notice any extra hunger with one over the other, aside from just the 'normal" wishing I could eat more! LOL
  • Soon to be XH noticed at 20 lbs. Most others noticed at around 35 lbs. My Son in law just recently commented in the nicest way. I mentioned going to an exercise class and he said "Oh! I thought you've been looking very slender lately!"

  • Ange, how tall are you? I'm 5'2" and MFP started me at 1230 calories. I was close or a little over most of the time. When I got to a 50 lbs loss, it changed me to 1200. I still go a little over most of the time and am still losing. I have 3 meals a day and 2 snacks. I eat back most of my exercise calories.
  • I'm also one who weighs every day. I need it for motivation. When I stop doing it, I get out of control.
  • I also took them pretty faithfully for about 2 months and didn't really see any difference from my already ongoing weight loss. No increase in energy either. If it sounds too good to be true, it is too good to be true!

  • I guess I'll just keep using the "dancing" choice under "cardio". :-) The 45 minute class is called "muscular strength" and includes weights, stretch bands, and aerobic dance while doing those things, with a little bit of yoga and tai chi thrown in! It's fun!

  • Hey, I have wondered about that too! I use the 100 calorie bags or measure the amount for 100 calories into the air popper. I usually do just keep the count but no harm in wondering!
