I really need this as well. Please add me. I'm currently doing Weight Watchers online and tracking calories with MFP. I like tracking on two apps but once I get tired of dual tracking I will stop Weight Watchers and just do MFP.

Yes..I loosely follow Nutrisystem using their guidelines and mostly flexing.

Confession #1: I go to a boot camp every Saturday morning with a big group of friends and relatives. For various reasons this week I was the only one that could go. A few of us go to lunch afterwards. I didn't mind going to the boot camp by myself but I was really bummed that I had nobody to go to lunch with. I had a…

Sometimes I like to watch my exercise DVD's from the couch.
-
I LOVE these confessions. They make me feel not as guilty or weird!
-
WOW!

Thank you so much for the tip! I will have to get a heart rate monitor. I still don't have one. Do you have one you recommend?
-
I have been having a hard time logging the exercises though. Anyone that already does the 21 day fix dvd's, how do you log the exercise?
-
I would like to join. I love the DVD's. I have been doing those for about a month. I haven't started the eating plan yet because I want to lose weight the same way I will maintain my weight loss. However I am considering trying the diet plan next round. I absolutely love the DVD's though!

I do! I don't know that we "shouldn't". I know you "shouldn't" count your weight more than one time a week (the same day and time). However if you can handle it and it doesn't make you obsessive, there is no problem with weighing daily.
-
You could try the "No S" Diet. I like to count calories but if I didn't I think I would give this one a whorl. It seems OK to me if you won't count calories and I know some people that have had a lot of success on it. I just like to have my snacks and count calories so I'm not going to do it.

I had the same thing happen to me but instead of being smart about my eating I just said screw it and wore my dress without a bra. My dress fit fine if I didn't wear a bra. Luckily you couldn't tell because of the way the dress was cut but I will always regret that I didn't try to get healthy before my own wedding. Oh well…

":noway: When I said about the eating two donuts a day... I was saying ONLY 2 donuts a day... So even though they are under their calorie allotment, they aren't getting their other nutrients so it is not considered healthy. If someone is getting there nutrients and under calories, then it would be different. Not everything…

I could be wrong because there are a lot of post's on here and I might not remember all of them but from what I CAN remember you are the only one that claimed to be an expert.

Many Fitness Magazines, PT's, and these fitness conferences are kind of a scam and fad as well. A lot of the things you have been citing as your reference for your knowledge are part of the scams currently going around. They just aren't as easy (for some) to see right away that they are a scam. ETA: (for some)

I'm not saying you are lying but I am really quite surprised by all the people you have messaging you to say they are glad you posted this topic. I stand by that the people that would fall for these scams are the same people that wouldn't take the time to take in your PSA. Does it make you feel better now that you have…

I have a job but I'm not embarrassed for my boss, clients, coworkers or whoever recognizing me by my face. They all know I need to lose weight by looking at me. I'm not embarrassed by what I say on this or other sites. Maybe if I were to say something I wouldn't say in "real" life I would take my picture down. I hope I…

I'm curious, not bashing just genuinely curious. You have stated over and over that people keep bringing up that you used "clean" when that wasn't even what your post was about. You said it though and it was part of your post. Why wouldn't people harp on that if it is something that they find offense with? Also I'm curious…

I'm pro doing whatever you want for yourself as long as it doesn't hurt or harm others. I think we have gotten way too consumed on telling people what they "should" be doing. Everyone needs to do what is right for them and eat what is right for them. I don't use or care for anything other than eating within my calories and…

Yes I have heard that they have been posting each morning and get their post's deleted each day?
-
Sometimes they are sneaky and don't come right out and call themselves coaches. It just depends really. There are a lot of other topics about this also that probably explains it better.
-
There are many coaches that push a lot of different product. It is all annoying. That is not what this website is for. I'm not going to get into what this coach was pushing I don't want to give the product any advertisement on my end. Good idea! I didn't think to report. I also don't know how to block I just deleted.

Thanks Nancy a couple of the items you listed are pet peeve's on my current scale. Maybe I will look at getting a new one. Thanks!
-
Thank you! I will try this.
-
I like my digital scale. It has the tare and does grams or ounces. That is good advice to just stick to the one you like. I do that with my weight scale makes sense to do that with my food scale.
-
Good point!
-
Thank you! You have given me a lot of good information. With everyone's help maybe I can prevent having a weight gain or plateau 3 months from now and I won't have to start a topic asking "Why am I no longer losing weight."
-
Good question! I have two different scales and they are slightly off of each other. I would like to know also what food scale people use.
-
I'm OK with math but I never noticed anything in grams. I will have to learn the equivalent in grams for everything.
