I totally know how you feel. I've looked very pregnant for around the last year or so. And I actually found out I have a large tumor in my abdomen, so I'm hoping my stomach will look totally different after surgery!! Feel free to add me if you like!

Have you ever read about food deserts? If not, go check it out. I found it to be a very interesting concept when I was researching topics for a thesis.

I log it as Circuit training. MFP says I burn around 300 calories for 20 mins, but I'm also 283. If you're smaller, the burn is probably less.

I do lots of workout DVDs, Zumba, treadmill...all at home. Usually 5-6 days a week and around 30-45 min per workout.

I'm 283 and just finished my first week of Insanity. It's tough and really hard on the knees for someone my size if you don't modify a bit, but I really enjoy it. I'm terribly out of shape but find that I really push myself while doing the workout and have completed it every day that I've done it.

I have to do knee pushups for Insanity right now too! Working up to the real thing!!

Funny that you mention this. Last night I saw a DQ commercial and thought MUST....HAVE....BLIZZARD. Unfortunately it was already closed, so I couldn't get one lol. But I'm all for treating yourself (obviously in moderation). If I cut out everything I loved then I'd be totally miserable and would give up!

I'm probably the most awkward person on the face of the planet, so I can sympathize. But I just say I'm quirky and unique instead, and it's makes me feel better about it lol!

In my experience, any change in my weight, stress level, etc can affect my cycle. When I gained around 30lbs last year, I didn't have a period for around 3 months and then after that it was very irregular. If you're concerned, check with your doctor though!

Totally agree about 30DS. I got bored with it very quickly! Been doing Insanity for just a few days, but found it to be a much better (and obviously harder) workout. Definitely prefer it over 30DS.

I keep mine pretty private for now...only a few people really know about it. Maybe once I get closer to my goal or start seeing really big results, I'll be more likely to share it. But for now, no official Facebook updates about my weight loss just yet lol.
