I have run my last three marathons and multiple halfs on keto. Once you are fat adapted there should not be an issue. Train the way you plan to race. All of my long run fuel was keto with a few gummy bears here and there as a small pick me up. Totally doable to be an endurance athlete on a ketogenic diet.

My goal is min 128oz. 1/2 plain h2o, 1/2 electro. Most days I'm above and don't count coffee in that total. Especially if it's hot out. I have an app on my phone that reminds me to drink :)

I am a runner as well. I trained and ran my first marathon completely alone. I didn't know anyone else that ran at the time. I joined a running club and it was ok running with others, but still enjoyed my aone time. I do have a small group that I run with now, we all start out together, a little talking and on to running.…

Timwhoa, Curious how you eat no carbs for days at a time. I only have 15-17 pounds to lose and really frustrated at this point.

Must do Monday for Gee: push ups- 50....10 Squats - 60.....20 bicep curls 6# 100.....25 Sad to report, my 22 mile run turned into 16. My foot was bothering me a bit so opted to cut short rather then tough it out. I have a half the next two weekends and a full the following so I figured better safe then sorry :smile:
