Had an awesome group of friends when I started...the last time. Some of those have dropped off. Interested in adding more.

Crow. Disappointing until i realized I get to wear kick *kitten* face make-up and avenge my death....damn I am old and watch way to many movies...sigh

Hey there! Right now for me it's avocados. I am addicted! Also, whole grain bread, lettuce and mushrooms. I buy those almost every week.

Mine is usually a spin on the previous night's supper. If we decide to have steak one night, it is steak salad the next day. When I make couscous salad, I make a bunch and then it is my go to side for the week. I tend to be able to eat mostly the same things one week at a time without getting too bored

I only count things I do that are not part of my daily routine.

On my 2nd round as well. We can do this. Even if it takes more rounds, at least we keep trying!

Just started again about a week ago. Have 50 to lose. The community here can really help you out.

Welcome! Take it day by day, hour by hour, minute by minute...each time you forego that snack, drink water vs soda or make any small changes, consider it a victory. All those small victories will eventually add up to some noticeable changes. Reach out. Friends on here are motivating, its nice to get an "atta boy" when you…

Always looking for new friends for motivation. Feel free to add me

Taking the first step to start is the hardest! Good luck!

^^^^Love this!

Great job! It's those little things that most take for granted that will keep you going! AWESOME!

I lost my MFP way as well. Let's do this!
-
Good luck! The first step is just trying.

I figure out what I am going to eat the day before and log it in the morning before work. Maybe that will help

Weight is not linear. It comes off at different rates. Also, the weight wasn't put on in a month and unfortunately it seems to come off at a slower rate than gaining it. Keep at it, the payoff in the end will be worth it.

Same issue here. Co-worker brought in donuts and cookies. Then another one ordering from one of my fave places. Staying strong with my salad i brought. Totally believe in giving in once in awhile, but I am just starting again so totally feels like sabotage!

Honey nut cheerios for most of the week. Light breakfast sandwich today.

Totally agree! If I limit myself and not splurge on things that I love once in awhile, I am just asking for trouble! Live a little.

Salon = good choice!

I am a fan of black hair...since I have had it my whole life. Just be careful some looks way fake

I did MFP about a year ago. Lost 30 lbs. Then life happened and my mother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. I gave up, gained back 20 lbs. Logging what passes your gums is the key. I started back and find that I love the control of logging my food. You will have good days and bad days. Just remember, someone thinks…

I would plan ahead for those days. I usually plan my food the day before. If you have the advance notice, do your research and get something you like and plan the rest of your calories around it. It is not time to go crazy, but to indulge yourself a bit :)
-
Good luck! You can do whatever you set your mind to. Feel free to add me!

Thanks again, everyone! :blushing:

Thanks Everyone!

My diary is open for everyone to see. I am pretty religious about logging. If I am away for the weekend, it is the only time I don't. I eat "regular" food but in moderation. If I crave something, I eat it or drink it. I do not deprive myself, just do in moderation. Feel free to add me as well.

I am a type 2 diabetic. I have been assigned with the task of keeping mine in check with my diet and exercise. My next check up is at the end of August and I can't wait to see if I have gotten a handle on this. Welcome!

I take left overs from the night before. I portion the food out and make sure it fits into my plan. I also keep cherry tomatoes and other healthy snacks at work. For some reason, I must snack at work.
