Hi all! I just did day 2, Level one of 30 Day Shred. Ouch. This is the first time I've done a fitness DVD and I'm finding it easy to follow but hard work to do. I'm looking for 30 day Shred buddies to keep me going and vice versa.

Mine is open, I like to see what others are eating and I have no problem with others seeing what I am eating. I've only got about 6 "friends" on here so I doubt anyone is particularly interested anyway.

That is so harsh. lol

Hi, I'm 5"8. I'm feeling overweight for my frame at the moment at 143lbs. At my lowest weight I was 112lbs and I was way too thin. I was a broke student at the time with not much money for food and no driving licence so I had to walk everywhere! I think I looked at my best between 119 and 126lbs. I'm trying to lose the…

Thank you, I think I'll try that at the weekend

I've never heard of seitan! I'll have to look it up.

Sorry I only just saw these reply's!! It looks like I'm going to have to go to Waitrose (one hours drive) because there is no Sainsbury's where I live or Morrisons (forty min drive). It's a pain but I really miss those burgers! Thanks for the info guys.

Love it!

My hairdresser recommended it to me the other day. Apparently you can get it from Tesco for 6/7 pounds. Think I'll add it to the weekly shop!

Hi, my family eat vegetarian 3/4 times a week then mostly fish the rest of the time. We are not strictly vegetarian but enjoy our healthy veggies. I'm always looking for new veggie recipes and tasty ways to eat well.

I just started BodyPump and I can only go once a week due to family commitments. I'm wondering if i'm wasting my time doing it once a week as the instructor recommended three times. Also the instructor seems more interested in doing the exercises himself and looking at his reflection in the mirrors than in anybody's form!

I lost count. Lots of Haribo Ghost mix and chewy lolly drumsticks. We still have loads left, I might have to throw it out!!! Oh and more mini meringues than I thought humanly possible.

Thank You, I'll try that. :)

I'm working on my mummy (toddler) belly so not ready to post pics quite yet. I'm a bit scared of sit ups, crunches etc.. because my stomach muscles are really weak. It would be nice if someone could suggest some abdominal strengthening exercises that won't damage very weak muscles.

I went on a really restrictive diet about five/six months ago and my hair started falling out very badly. I went to the doctor and they did blood tests for thyroid, vitamin deficiency etc... They wanted to know if I was under any stress, or if any major thing had happened in my life. They found nothing wrong with me. The…

Yes, but to a point. I'm exercising to lose weight so it would be counter intuitive to eat back everything I burned! I try not to go below 1200 calories a day. My calories are set at about 1400 and I mentally have 1200 as a minimum. If I have done a lot of exercise that takes me below that I will try to eat back to my 1200…

Hi guys! I've been really ill for about two weeks with some kind of devil flu/cough. This means I'm going back to week 3, possibly even week two depending on how much my fitness has slipped. Its good to see people are still going strong!!

Thats great news.

Hi all! I did W3D1 on Monday and found it hard for the first time since W1D1. I Should be doing W3D2 today but I've got a cold/bug. I'll see how I feel later. Right now I'm running a fever and feeling rotten :(

Hi! I'm a SAHM too. Its really hard to do anything around kids!! I have found a basket ball court nearby to run in. I lock the gate and let my 18m old run about inside the court with me. It's probably a bit of a cop-out as it's totally flat and easy to run on but its the only way I can get the C25k training in. The bonus…

W2D3 Done. Roll on week 3! And the sun is shining, woo hoo!
-
Disgusting. I'll have 2.
-
Hi, I'm either 5"7.5 or 5"8 depending on the tape measure! Currently on week 2 of C25K. I shop at tescos for my sins. I've just started adding recipes but have not made them public yet. Will do now.

W2D2 Done:drinker: Feel like I'm cheating myself running on the basket ball court. It was so much harder on the grass but in Rutland it is STILL RAINING!! Too wet for running on the grass:angry:
-
Hey! Rutland, UK here. There are quite a few Brits about on MFP.
-
I think I'm doing ok on week 2 but I'll see what I'm like on Friday. It feels like week 3 could be a bit too hard for me. I must admit I am jogging very, very slowly!
-
C25K W2D1 Done in the rain again :( Where is the English Summer????? Makes me feel like Rocky though!
-
C25K Week one done for me! It was raining hard and I didn't want to get my feet wet so I ran on a basketball court, so much easier and flatter than on the football pitch I'd been using. My feet still got wet though, it's a good job we don't run over the weekend because my brand new running shoes will be drying out.

Ha! I'm most like someone from India apparently. I do like Indian food, dammit I WANT Indian food.
