I hit below my 'goal' weight and now It is a look I am going for. I need to tone. There are squishy and flabby bits I am not very happy with right now.

I would talk to a therapist about this. My surgeons office required it. For me the benefits out weighed the risks and by staying overweight I was killing myself anyways. I went into it with a new out look on life as well. I changed the way I think about exercise and food. I wish you all the best. Sometimes the mental head…

How very exciting. Congratulations on all your success and keep it up girl. :)

Never listen to family and friends, listen to your own body and your surgeon. I have also gotten the "you are too thin" comments. My surgeon is happy with where I am at and so am I.

I am going to a nutrition class designed for 6 months and beyond. I am over a year out and still fear every carb I consume. I know it is all mental.

Good luck! You can do it!

I had someone tell me I cheated. She was a 17 year old girl in my church and she just said it over and over. Unfortunately the law prohibited me from B%tch slapping her across the face. Way to go for standing up for yourself.

-
wow!!! Congrats on your success!

I was cleared for coffee at a month out. They just tell me to limit it to 2 drink a day. :)

I had gastric bypass and could not be happier. I have had no complications. :) Will be 1 year out on March 30th.

My doctor told me 1 year.

Being pregnant at a healthier weight is so much better for you and the baby. I am looking to become pregnant also. I will just monitor what I eat and make sure i eat the right things and enough to feed both the baby and myself.

I can't tell you what to do but for me it was the best decision I ever made. It literally saved my life and I don't regret any of it.
-
Do everything the surgeons tell you. Cheating is not wise and after surgery it is not worth it. Feel free to add me. March 30 will be my 1 year surgeverissary

I only add cleaning when I am not stop moving doing it and it takes up an hour or more of my day. I recognize in daily activities when I am doing things that are not the norm and burn calories.
