I think you've won half the battle by recommitting to being your healthiest you! I was Dx last year and it has been a lot of trial and error with working out again. You got this! 👏🏼💪👍🏼

Have you tried pilates? This is something my neurologist suggested along with yoga. I will admit I had never tried yoga until my diagnosis but I have grown to enjoy it.

Afternoon ladies, I weighed myself this morning and below are the results. 1/3: 171.1 1/23: 167.2 I was quite surprised with my weigh in actually. :o My original goal when I decided to lose weight and get healthy was 170. That was many, many years ago. After I got to 179 I thought if this is the best I'm going get to I'm…

@rianneonamission I imagine I will however I am not going to stress with the process. It has been such a long journey for me that I already know that slow and steady is what works for me.

Congrats on the scale victory. :) Keep up the momentum and take a moment to measure yourself. It gives you another way to confirm you're on the right track even when the scale teeters.

I am a little late to this January weigh-in thread. I just joined the group and am looking for an active group of ladies to help keep me focused on my health. Hopefully we will have a February weigh-in thread I can join. :) I weighed myself on the 3rd as a starting point for 2019 and my weight was 171.1. I plan on weighing…

Hi ladies, new to this group but not MFP. :) I measured and weighed myself from the onset of my weight journey which started back in 2011. I have certainly taken the longer road learning about food, fitness and my body type all the while learning to love what I see in the mirror. It's been a long trip but I'm glad I have…

Thank you all for your input. I'm working on dedicating a few days a week for strength training while staying within my 30-35 min time limit. I'm doing an arm day and a leg day during the week and devoting a day on the weekends for a full body. I rotate the moves but tend to have a few fave workouts.

41 here. Starting 2019 focusing on strength training. After a 40+ weight loss l'm almost at my goal weight but want to tone up. Feel free at add me.

My goal for the 1st quarter of 2019 is to continue to focus on strength training. I slowed down with the cardio mid year and can see that at my age (41) strength training is what my body needs. I have a bad lower back and am working with a chiro to help get me on track. I lack upper body strength thus the light weights.…

Hey there fellow walkers! I am Jo and live in Tampa, FL. I started my weight loss journey several years ago by simply walking since that was the only thing I was able to do. I quickly realized that being outdoors and walking was quite therapeutic for me. I plan to log in my walks via the elliptical and walking my 2 dogs…

What is your favorite thing about your appearance? I have a few but I guess my favorite would be my face. What is your greatest strength? My attitude towards life. What is your proudest moment from 2014? Rebuilding a broken relationship. What are you looking forward to the most in 2015! EVERYTHING! 2013-2014 has been crazy…
