  • I hope its ok if I post here still....we are TTC. I just finished the pill and realize it could take awhile but I'm crossing my fingers in hopes that we get lucky! I am learning alot just by reading up on everyone!
  • Elizabeth, Good luck tomorrow and hope its a great day for you and hubby!!
  • Anne, mathjulz and scorpiomom...thank you for the advice and you are right! If we all waited until we were financially set and stable I would have never been born! I know we will be fine and I'm not one that will go overboard on buying things...even though its my first (he has a son that is 11) I know how to live on a…
  • Ok so have any of you had the issue of your hubby starting to get cold feet the closer you are to TTC? We have been talking about it for awhile and now that we are at the edge of the cliff of getting off the pill etc...he is starting to question finances and everything else! He just started a new business a year ago and is…
  • Its so exciting to read how everyone is doing! I hope everyone has a great weekend and that there are babies to be reported soon!!!
  • Thank you ladies for your responses. I have been on the pill for 20 years off and on. I know thats along time! I have been a career woman and have finally found the man of my dreams! The past 2 months I have started my period a week early, even being on the pill! I will be 38 in January and my husband will be 42 in…
  • Thank you for this thread....don't know why I didn't look sooner! Hubby and I are going off the pill in a month and then wanted to give myself a few months for my body to adjust before "trying" Anyone in the same boat or anyone that had been on the pill for along time? I also have to say that I am extremely scared of alot…
  • What kind of fruits are you eating? Some have higher sugar content which wouldn't be good. If you are exercising you should be eating back at least 75 percent of the calories you burn but still creating a deficit to lose. Have you cut out bad carbs? Protein will also help in weight loss because it fuels your muscles, and…
  • Awesome! What an inspiration you are. My hat goes off to you....keep up the fantastic work!!
  • I would try and get at least close to your calorie goal...even if it's 200 under. Throw in a couple snacks during the day like fruit which will give you energy or veggies. My day looks like this with a calorie goal of 1200 Breakfast...oatmeal, flaxseed, skim milk and blueverries (raspberries, blackberries etc in my…
  • I had long hair and one day had it all cut off....and its short! I love it, its much easier to deal with and I have people tell me all the time that I look 10 years younger! Short hair doesn't have to look boyish...mine doesn't.
  • I was the same as you, not knowing what to do. I started with a trainer the first of the year and he has me lifting. We do 2 sets of 20 each time. I don't use alot of weight and was told that you get more benefit from more reps at lighter weight. It seems to be working because I have trimmed down alot! The key is…
  • Thanks for sharing...I needed some new ideas!!
  • How interesting that you posted this! I just had my TOM and I have to say that this month was easy and light! Definite reason to keep up with the exercise!
  • I just bought the polar F6 and I think its been a great investment. My trainer has a polar F12 I think. I posted a topic on here about the same thing and the vote seemed to go toward the polar HRM's. Hope it helps!
  • I went out and bought a heart rate/calorie monitor because I didn't want to think I was burning all these calories when in fact I wasn't! Last night was the first night I wore it and it was right on with what my watch said.
  • Bolthouse Farms...Green Goodness. It does look awful but it tastes pretty darn good!
  • Is it just a gamble in changing your settings? Should I be looking at my age...body etc?
  • I take the GNC Women's Ultra Mega Vita pack....it's about 6 different vitamins in one pack. Plus, I add B-12. I have noticed I feel much better and have more energy.
  • Thanks for the responses! I went and got the Polar F6...we will see how it goes.

  • To keep maintaining the healthy eating and motivation to go to the gym...ALOT! I don't want to gain the weight back. Like many others my weight has gone up and down, up and down. I have learned the healthy way this time to lose weight. I will get a new tattoo and some new clothes! I will treasure me and not lose respect…
  • we can all use the help! I still have another 15 or so to go so if you want to add me that would be great. I will motivate you if you motivate me.
  • Thank you for posting this. I get so ored with lettuce! I'm def going to try the slaw!!
  • I also weigh everyday because I like to be pro-active. If I monitor it I know where and what changes I can make....maybe less sodium for a few days etc. Do what feels right for you but you will get there! I have also had weeks where I work out daily and am under my calorie goal but NOTHING! But, then all of a…
