You have to net over 1000 calories or you will get that message. The 1900 goal is realistic. Be wise about using those calories though, choose healthy fats to get the count up. Just bought a DDR and dance pad combo on eBay for $15... not a bad deal to "try it out". Loved this thread because it shows me that it does work. Now I just have to not be a klutz!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the step classes on Wii balance board and think I will love this too.

I agree... it's weird.. During the week I fluctuate up within a pound, but come weigh in day, I always see a nice loss.. It all depends on your hydration, time of day, and god only knows the moon for all I can figure out! lol

Your first few weeks you will lose quickly.. this is VERY quickly, but may be a lot of water weight. Just don't get discouraged when it slows down to the normal 1-2 pounds a week.

Great Job!! Keep up the great work - it Pays off!! Just remember, you lost much quicker in the first few weeks so don't get discouraged if it's not 15 pounds every month (trust me, I've been there!).

Carbs before, protein after.. but good carbs. Example.. My TDEE is 2253.. so TDEE-20% = 1802. I'm currently eating between 1450-1550 a day.. MFP sets my goal at 1640.. I'm consistently losing 1.5-2 pounds a week. So does the TDEE method tell me that if I eat another 300 calories a day I will lose MORE?? Hmmm.. Doesn't sound too healthy to me. And I know I'm too scared to try..

Wine is full of sugar... Definitely try and cut back. Even if you cut back to one glass.. or cut back on the amount of days. Last year I cut out drinking for several months and changed NOTHING else about my eating habits (which were atrocious) and lost 8 pounds pretty quickly.
