I love p90x3. Well balanced program and very doable for busy people.

That recipe reminds of this one that made my rotation this week. Haven't made it yet but will soon. It's taco pie. http://alldayidreamaboutfood.com/2014/05/low-carb-easy-taco-pie.html#_a5y_p=1740112

@Keto_T I just bought xanthan gum for the first time this morning at publix! How much should I add, maybe 1/2 tsp??

Wow! You must feel great! Your hard work has paid off!

You're transformation is amazing!!

I'm going to use this as a replacement for the campbells cream of mushroom soup in my favorite roast beef recipe! I bet it would be good using holy trinity!! yum! thanks for sharing

Yes, this is what I meant :)

Your hubby sees your weight loss and starts eating keto, too. Instead of asking questions like, "Are you sure all of that fat is good for you?" Now he asks, "Babe can you make some more of those lemon fat bombs?"

My questions is: What does maintenance look like?
-
@baconslave I totally agree with this. I am also using planned 'cheats'- and I love your idea of giving a time frame. I am the type that has a tough time bouncing back from a cheat- a once a week Friday evening cheat dinner turns into an all weekend cheat. Which is alright if I were only maintaining- but needless to say…

The first time I did low carb to lose baby weight years ago, I was missing a key component- fat. I was so focused on making sure I didn't eat carbs that I just ignored the fact that I needed to increase my dietary fat. I am one that believes that exercise is good for you mind and body- but not for necessarily for weight…

Increased hunger hasn't been an issue (yet) but every other symptom that is normally mild is increased. Terrible cramps and very heavy period. The joys of womanhood.

this sounds delish!

I have found a new love for steak topped with garlic butter. Love the salty tang of garlic. Good stuff!

That is the great thing about meatballs- can make huge batches of them! These sound like they would be yummy with a low carb swedish meatball recipe I saw somewhere on pinterest.

Everyone looks amazing! Great job!!!

My challenge will be making sure that I keep these carb friendly goodies stocked in the kitchen!

I've been thinking about this question myself. I think I have come up with a doable game plan. When I go back to work next month (I'm a teacher) I plan on mainly bringing leftovers for lunch. If for some reason I don't feel like left overs- or we don't have any- I will just take carb friendly goodies- genoa salami&…

Sweet! I will try this! Thank you! Where did you get your coconut sweetener? I need a better sweetener because I am not digging Stevia.
-
Yes that is what I am thinking too- I love the creamy! I will be taking my ninja blender with us to the condo- so at least I will be able to control what goes in the drink (instead of buying them at a tiki bar). I am thinking maybe cream of coconut? I have never used it- I need to just head to the grocery store and compare…

These are awesome. Are they from this group??

Today is day 11 for me, and as of this morning I am down 8.2 pounds. I am also enjoying (after a sluggish 4-5 days) that ketogenic energy that everyone talks about :) I no longer get HANGRY between 3-4 in the afternoon. I am satisfied between meals- and sometimes have to sort of remind myself to eat a little something.…

This is totally me- word for word!

Saving this for supplement ideas

Hello! I just joined this group! I am 37 and hope to lose weight and improve health on a ketogenic diet. I have done low carb years before- in college, successfully, but I got bored with my food choices (I lived on bunless burgers) and gradually the carbs crept back in. Many years have passed and I am much older and much…
