Try doing HIIT training every few days. Run on the fastest speed you can for a minute, then walk it out for a minute after. Do it for 15-30 minutes.

You can reduce calories and continue with R.I.C.E. I ended up getting tendinitis in my knee a few years ago, I waited until it was back to 100% before I did any sort of working out. I stayed at 1200 calories, I didn't get a setback at all. :)

I get up for work at 4:30 am and I am off work at 2:30 or sometimes earlier so I take a nap when I get home a lot then workout. :)

I prefer having a little something, most likely a banana. If I eat a meal beforehand, I get cramps or an upset stomach. It is not bad nor good, it is all about what you prefer!

I think it depends. A larger and/or a taller personal burns more than someone short and fairly skinny. Also people who are generally out of shape burn more. But yes, I do agree and think some HRM's overestimate which is why I say not to go cheap on them. Get a GOOD one and spend the money for something that will last…

Yep, I agree. I always underestimated my burn, especially being a SAHM. I was wrooong! I still have a hard time eating as much as I'm supposed to. LOL

I like to say carbs before workout and protein after. I think Atkins is stupid. Whether my brother does it or not. Yes you can lower your carb in take, but to have none or barely any at all is awful. Carbs are good for you. GOOD carbs are. Whole wheat, brown rice, fruits, veges, etc.

My brother lost over 100 pounds with Atkins. Having no or barely any carbs sucks though. Makes you tired.

Cayenne has only little effect on helping cleanse your system.

Hmm, not sure of a casserole. I like to use them for little breakfast burritos though. Just throw in some eggs with ketchup.

Remember the holidays come once a year. You can lose those 3 pounds and lose a lot more until next time. Also, studies show people gain on average 10 POUNDS during the holidays. You only gained 3! Just forget about it and keep going!

I drink Pure Whey Protein in chocolate. I do 1 scoop in the blender, half a banana, 1 cup almond milk, 1 tbsp PB2 and a few ice cubes. So good after a workout!

No idea because it got worse for me as the months went on. Especially at the end when you don't have much left and you are being totally impatient, but I tell myself every day that it's NOT gonna happen overnight and I will look how I want to look as long as I keep doing what I am doing. Taking it one day at a time.

The yolk is where all that is. I will eat at most, 1 whole egg a day, but the rest is egg whites.

You can try and spot reduce all you want, but it'll never happen. Toning the area does help though. My thighs and arms are probably the worst with genetics so those areas are the hardest for me, but slowly and surely, it's coming off. I just stopped being impatient about it.

LOL, I already plan on eating whatever the heck I want on Christmas. I doubt I will gain a pound. I don't plan on eating 3500 extra calories, but I will eat cookies, drink my eggnog, have my cake and pie and be happy and not worry about it! Thankfully Christmas is on my cheat-meat day anyway!
