I also struggle if I don't track what I'm eating. It's easy to miss or underestimate a few things ... I also find it easier to maintain my weight when I weigh myself regularly. Not in an obsessive way, but just to be aware of changes. See you here at the end of forever :L

^^ I debated putting my comment on because I knew there'd be those that didn't believe what I said, and I can't be bothered defending it or arguing. What I will say is this - you wouldn't stick with GF/wheat free crap-*kitten* bread for 14 years if you weren't SURE it helped.

Haha in my case that was a bit true. lol. I'm less evil now :D

Similar here - I was labelled wheat intolerant by a specific blood test, but I'm not allergic and I'm definitely not celiac, and hey, I can even tolerate wheat in very small amounts and gluten within ingredients. But I can't eat 'normal' bread or pasta as it's too much at once, so I buy the wheat free varieties. What I…

Did someone call for shorty forties???? Reporting for duty. Feel free to add me to your list of motivators!

41 then??

Hey! Good luck in your journey!! 40 here, got the exercise thing working well ... not so great on the dieting ... pretty good at cheering my mfp friends on! Still got weight I want to lose but in no rush. Been here nearly 500 days and work out 3-4x a week (lifting, karate, walking). Anyone feel free to add me if you need…

I am sure you're going to get some great ideas and help about the lifting, so I'm not even going to comment on that. However, I just want to say GOOD FOR YOU. Congratulations on joining a gym and taking steps to change your life. Also, the no energy thing - sometimes I start a workout and I am so damn tired I don't even…

Not always the best choices ;)

Dude, it's what's inside that counts. Can't dislike either pic :)

Great story and great photo!! Congratulations to the both of you! xxx My husband and I lift together and mix in core strength exercises with it. I absolutely love working out with him, we work so well as a team. Go husband and wife workout teams! x

Doing something nice for good people. An impromptu nap cuddled up with my dog. Curry night :)

2-3 times a week (plus 1x martial arts and lots of stretching, core work and walking). But it depends very much on you, don't compare yourself to others. Personally, if I push harder my body can't cope. It's all about what works for you and what you're comfortable with :)

I love Chinese Crested!

My dog isn't slobbery or dirty, and he doesn't smell 'doggy' either! He is hairy though.

Rotherham Bitza, in my profile pic. He's awesome. Mummy was Border Collie cross, I think Daddy must have been a sloth :)

I very rarely look at other people's diaries. I'm interested in people and what workouts they're doing and how they're feeling, but what they chose to eat is their business. My diary used to be open, but I find I am more honest if I keep it private! I know damn well if I've made bad choices, I don't need someone to point…

I LOVE THIS!!!

Eat nice and clean. Drink lots of water and no fizzy drinks.

Why? And why 10lb specifically? In a couple of weeks it is possible to feel better in your clothes and decrease any bloating caused by eating crap, but not necessarily to lose a specific amount of lbs. So what is your wider goal? For example, to fit into a dress for an occasion?

Pretty sure I could take on a guy with no head.
-
I don't know ... I think you might badass the hell outta me with your awesome guns!
-
I'd give it a go.

I use a spicy tofu spread mixed with chilli paste. It does the cheese and tomatoey bit all in one fell swoop and tastes awesome. OK yeah, sometimes I grate a bit of cheese over the top too. I'm only human.

*gets coat* *leaves*

Good for you, you should absolutely be proud of yourself! xxx

Thanks! I've never achieved anything like this before :)
