His loss.

I used to work out at a gym where this one guy just before he would do his squat set would sniff an uncut number 2 pencil. He would move it back and forth under his nose muttering something for a couple seconds then do his set. Every. Single. Set. It was and still is the strangest thing I have ever seen in 20+ years. My…

You look awesome and should be Very proud of yourself for making such a huge, positive change. You actually look like a different person with the India pic to now pic. Impressive to say the least.

I just turned 44 this week and can honestly say I looked better at 44 than 24. At this point in the game, it's about longevity, not ego. Having to adjust for loss of strength vs. shape was a little hard to adjust to as I got older. It is absolutely critical that getting enough rest and proper nutrition is a big, big factor…

Nice job everyone.

I'm not even how to respond to this. Since the pictures are you...........I think your mother needs to get off the drugs and shut the hell up. That kind of talk drives me bananas. I'm sorry, but given how you look, she's putting a lot of unnecessary, unneeded pressure on you to lose weight you don't need to lose. Don't…

I do. I have every meal planned out M-F without even having to think. Cook/prep most on a Sat or Sun day and take what I need. Creature of habit. If I know it will help me maintain/get to my goals, I stick with it. Weekends are a slight variation (but NOT much) each week that I know what I'll be eating for the majority of…

Nice job. I know first hand how hard it is to drop the weight. You've got the right approach in not depriving yourself. Unless your competing, being that stringent is almost mentally impossible. Eat right, workout and treat yourself when you've earned it. It's FAR easier to keep making "sacrifices" and sticking with the…

I second this!! Ice cream/frozen yogurt, whatever, it's kryptonite to me. I work my can off every week so I can have that one meal of ice cream on a Saturday night. Up until a month and a half ago, I did it every weekend without fail for 2 years. Unfort not being the outside kind of guy when it's 20 freaking degrees out…

Cup of kale, cup of spinach with green peppers, sea salt and half a tablespoon of flax. Five to six days a week. Was never a fan, but knowing how good for you it is, tough to go wrong. Actually look forward to it each day.

It's very possible that he's not feeling great about himself seeing you lose so much weight. It takes effort to lose that much bodyweight and if he doesn't have the discipline or the care to improve his own shape, he might be feeling insecure. Just my own theory that I have no credentials to back it up with.

Sschwarzenegger. As a kid growing up in the 70's I was completely in awe at the sheer size and power such a physique could bring. Then I realized it was the best way to control my weight..........and my temper. Now it's something I need just to sleep at night. Few days rest is great, but after 4 days I start to feel…

I have to agree with this. Bulking is FAR easier. You have to do less (relatively speaking) than those cutting. I have to watch what I eat and do two hours of cardio a day, 3 on Saturdays to just maintain my weight, never mind lose any. I could eat myself silly on any given day and put 15 pounds on eating clean without…

That's what I was wondering as well. Are you in MA?

Add me. And if you ever stick me in the trunk and say to someone Hell yeah I got junk in the trunk........I'm ditching you. :P

Have to agree, odd comment to make. I'd probably just say back "Jealous?"

BOOM! For sure.

I can burn that over the course of an hour and a half plus (even taking out 25% of "number" I see) to be safe, but not in an hour. That's some Serious working out. Props to anyone who does it.

Protein intake according to MFP is WAY, WAY too low. If your exercising hard, you need a lot more than what they suggest. I'm over by at least 100 grams a day. General rule of thumb is 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight if your training hard. You can be a little less/over and be fine.

About 40 pound difference. After pic was last Saturday.

Awesome job all!

You can add me as well for help, I'm on here quite a lot.
