deduct the fibre from the carbs and bingo..

The deficit is from your TDEE (total daily energy expenditure) and NOT from your BMR (basal metabolic rate) The links you've been given are worth a read. Good luck with your weight loss :)

You really need to open your diary for anyone to be able to help.

Ive just discovered papadums! Pop one in the microwave for 30 seconds and you have the satisfaction of crunchy potato crisps but only 24 calories

Insanity is tough. I'd start with 30ds and build up

That's like one big *kitten* chicken. 20oz??

Awesome progress! You look great!!

I tried that site and it was perfect! Good link :)

The longer the exercise the more MFP is out.. mainly because it includes the calories you would have burned in that time if you were doing nothing. For example, if I say I did 180 minutes walking at 2.5 m/per hour, MFP says I've burned 512 calories.. however if I was sitting on my backside for 180 minutes I would have…

Mix it with some garlic, mustard, salt, pepper and balsamic vinegar and there's your salad dressing sorted.

It sounds like you're doing okay, and given your height it doesn't look like you are under eating either, though some days you come in quite a bit lower than you could. Your protein levels are really low though, try adding in more lean protein and you might get a better result, and you'll loose at a better fat/muscle…

I had the same issue, but now pre-load my exercise so I know to eat more early.. otherwise I end the day with 500 to go. Like today. hmmm
-
hmmm. I've also had night sweats since ramping up the exercise. I've had them before when on sugar burning mode, so am not so sure that it isn't just an increased metabolism and "burning some calories" It seems to have settled down now, but exercise at night definitely made it worse.
Congrats... did it work for you?
Yes! Really noticed the results in the last month though, which is good considering I actually put weight for the first few weeks.
-
Just 3 days to go! Will post my results once it's over, but I'm pretty happy.
-
I've felt the same way as you for the last 51 days and now there s only 6 to more to go! Just do that **** anyway!! Push play and stick with it.. doesn't matter if you hate it, swear your *kitten* off or don't do it perfectly, just do it anyway. Once you've done it once, you can do it again.. and believe me it feels so…

Absolutely outstanding!! Thank you for sharing.. now I know it's possible to just keep going!
-
I'm interested in suggestions too, as the last few pounds seem to be really dragging!
-
MFP has protein set very low and it certainly doesn't sound like you're eating too much (if anything it looks like you need to add more) I've changed my macros to 40% protein, 30% Fat and 30% cabs and find it a lot easier to maintain, and it helps prevent lean mass loss as you drop your weight. What do you have your…

I'm also finding this, but realised my form is SOO much better than the first time I did it. Really doing the work properly takes much more effort. You might not think you're getting better, but I bet you're working it harder.

I'm in the same boat!! At 5'5.5" I'm 128 and would REALLY like to lose the last little layer of pudge so that I can finally see my abs. Not worried about the scales as such, but nothing I do seems to make any difference. It's really frustrating! Let me know if you find the answer!

Correlation does not imply causation. Best to talk to your doctor.

Oh, and I got my first loss after making a commitment to eat back ALL of my exercise calories. It was scary, but perhaps eating too little was an issue for me
-
I had the same issue (and am also on week four) but did measurements and weight today and weight is finally moving! Just a little (1lb) but that is a start. I've lost another half an inch off my waist though and now have the smallest waist I've ever had as an adult. Woo! From lots of reading, it looks like the biggest…

What?? Not a single vegetable in an entire week? I'd be hungry too!
-
Please explain "calorie shifting"? Does that mean I should move my cake to the other side of the table?

bump!

Roasted is yum! You can also boil them (peel first and they will turn the water red) or just grate them raw. You can make a really nice salad with grated beetroot, grated carrot, a few chopped dates, pinenuts and a lemon juice/olive oil dressing too

That's great work! You're doing so well. Your photo is certainly a good inspiration too. My youngest is now 3 and while the weight came off fairly quickly, it's only been the last few months that I've really kicked it up a gear. I want abs too! At least once before I turn 40 ;)
