How long is a piece of string? It really varies from person to person, simple as that. I've been slamming at-least 50-100g's of whey on average for the past 5 years and my blood values (full metabolic, liver, lipid, cholest. pannel done semi-annually for health insurance) are well within the normal ranges.

Hammer curls are more of an isolation exercise, so I would be more concerned with form, range of motion, and contraction. If I have to reel in the dumbbell like I just hooked a sand-shark, that's a good indication that I'm using too much weight to be effective.

I haven't run a race without music. For me...I envision the time that I'd like to get and then I structure a playlist that's total duration is right around that time. When that final song comes on I know it's time to get a move on.

I thought I really enjoyed working out alone due to sheer efficiency...but once I started working out with someone who was equally as serious, my strength progress increased exponentially. I guess there is something about someone screaming in your face that really motivates you to put up that extra 10,15,20 lbs.

I'm typically in-office 6am-5:30pm Monday-Friday and work from home Sat-Sun 10am-12pm... I sacrifice too much sleep for my recreational activities. :(

I tan, I enjoy it. It's therapeutic, I get great sleep for those 8 minutes or so. I also enjoy cooking, shopping, and yoga.
