This sounds pretty complicated. I’ll just keep under estimating my burned calories to be safe. I’m new to heart rate monitors. Thanks for alll the info! If anyone else has something to say I welcome any info. I love learning about this stuff.

Don’t go over on Vitamin A. That is one thing that I remember from taking a nutrition class. I don’t remember why, I just remember it’s not good to get too much Vitamin A. I should look it up in my textbook again.

30 here and always welcome new friends.

Nice to see someone else who likes these. I discovered them only a month ago I think.

I really do need more friends.

Thanks for all the suggestions! I’ll try some of these. I have had authentic ramen twice in my life. Not really a fan of cooking, but I’ll do it for something I love.

Focus less on the weight and do body measurements. They are more accurate. Still weigh sometimes but don’t rely on the scale. You should stick to 64 to 100oz of water and don’t go any higher. You don’t need any more than that. Whether or not a gallon is good varies from person to person. From what I’ve read it might be too…

The key is portion and self control. If you can master self control and portions you can eat whatever you want. I have a stash of candy in my room and every day I let myself eat a little. I’m still losing weight because I make sure to watch how much of everything I eat. For candy it’s half a serving. On Sunday sometimes…

I’m 30. You can add me.

Cherry cheesecake.

Honestly, it depends on the nutrition content. We probably won’t be able to say much since we don’t know what powder you use.
-
Make sure you are taking body measurements. The real goal is to lose fat. Sometimes people are gaining muscle and losing fat which gives the illusion that you aren’t losing weight. Measurements are more accurate.

I cap at 100oz because I don’t feel any need to go higher than that.

Thanks for all the answers! I’m not really worried about it, but I wanted to know. Around this time of year we tend to keep chocolate around the house.

I find that New Balance and ASICS brand shoes work the best for me. I currently wear ASICS brand shoes. They are amazing. I haven’t had issues since I ditched my cheap shoes. I’m not claiming that this is your solution, I just know that the right kind of shoes go a long way. I walk a lot by the way. I used to buy cheap…

I’m in no hurry, so to avoid getting bored I go on maintanence every 10lbs for a few weeks. I don’t feel as much need to count during this time. Today I’m ending another maintanence cycle. The next month up until Christmas I’m going to be counting again.

Don’t try to lose weight while you are pregnant. Your baby needs the extra calories.

The only thing I want to say here is that Stevia is not an articlficial sweetener. Stevia comes from a natural source, therefore it is a natural sweetener like sugar, or xylitol. Artificial sweeteners are man made.

Smoke was pretty bad over here in Utah too. This past week we’ve had good days and bad days with smoke. I won’t exercise outside if there is smoke in the air.

I need more friends too.

I’m not saying 1200 is the answer for everyone. I’m just saying eating that much doesn’t always mean starvation. Some people just don’t eat right and their body complains. Sometimes 1200 just isn’t right for you. If that’s the case that is fine. I eat 1500 on the days I work out.
-
This is why I put that last sentence at the end. If this amount of calories isn’t right for you then it just isn’t right.
-
I’m totally in.

I believe diets are useless. You don’t need a diet. The word diet is useless, you don’t need that word. You need a lifestyle change. This isn’t going to be temporary, it’s going to be for the rest of your life. Even after you lose the weight you are going to have to maintain. It is for life. So choose something you can…

I say if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. If she is healthy and what she is doing is working just fine then just leave it alone. In these cases I believe you shouldn’t try to push your beliefs on others. Just let it be. Sometimes you just have to let people do what they want. However, if it is hurting her then by all means try…

I had this problem once and found out I was super low on vitamins. I wasn’t getting enough nutrition. I wish I could be more specific, but I don’t remember what I was low on.

Eggs are such a breakfast blessing.

I’ll probably never be a full vegetarian. Right now it’s not possible for me to give up meat, but when I live on my own the only meat I plan on eating is fish. I don’t care for the rest. Chicken is good, but I could easily give it up.
