I have a Myzone M3 heart rate monitor that I use at the gym. My stats show I burned around 500 calories. This is a monitor that is around the chest area, so it should be accurate. Taking breaks from losing
Does anyone besides me take breaks from trying to lose? Every few pounds I'll eat at maintanrnce for a couple of weeks. I like taking it easy every once in a while. My body seems to respond well to this. I don't mind going slow.

Accurate calories on machines
Would you say halving the amount of calories cardio machines say I burn would be more accurate? I know they tend to over count. I've even been putting my weight in as 10lbs lighter than I actually am lately. I figured that would help. My heart rate is always above 157.

Jamba Juice oatmeal
I just got a Jamba Juice oatmeal with brown sugar and banana. I logged it as an oatmeal with brown sugar which shows as being 220. The banana oatmeal in the system says 280 though. I added a quarter of a banana. Do you think this is accurate? Should I add more calories?

Protein Bars and Powder
Do you people have a favorite? For protein bars I love B-UP For powder I like Spiru Tein (so many flavors!). When I don't care about taste I like Garden of Life Raw Meal Protein Powder. It is super healthy. It's pretty easy to make it taste good but you have to add stuff.
