Just curious. Should I use my whole foot to jog or should I job on the balls of my feet like I'm in high heels? I was always taught to jog on the balls of my feet, but just making sure.

I was told to land mid-foot but maybe someone with more experience can answer.

Land however your foot naturally lands. Trying to change your footfall pattern may cause injury. There's really not a lot of evidence that shows that a particular strike (what part of your foot hits the ground first) is better than another. I'm a heel striker and I also under-over pronate (the way your foot rolls, either to the inside or outside). Get a good pair of supportive, comfortable shoes (get help if you don't know running shoes) and just go!
