I tend to get ravenous in the week leading up to my period, but it passes eventually!

Another idea is adding a glass of milk to a meal, if you are able. Good for you, and will help you get in the calories!

I think that MacMadame has good advice! I would only add that is you are really worried about not having enough calories, you might think about adding a nice big glass of milk to your dinner!

On days I don't work out, I try very hard to just eat my target calories (for me 1420). I don't always hit it, but I give it a good try.

I love yogurt (my fave is marionberry) with a 1/4 or a 1/3 cup of grapenuts mixed in. That is my standard during the work week!

Pickles are really yummy and low in calories, but a claussen pickle half is 900-1000 mg of sodum (nearly half the allotted intake!).

Yum! I just discovered Jello sugar free chocolate pudding, and I mixed in blueberries last night. SO GOOD! What other things do people like to mix in with pudding or mousse?

It's the pickles, hands down. A claussen pickle half is nearly 1000 mg of sodium! Can you lessen your pickle intake or maybe put in bean sprouts, if you want the crunch?

I love laughing cow swiss on wasa crackers, apples or in on sandwiches! Sometimes I just toast up a peice of sourdough, spread on the cheese and enjoy... yumm

Ohh, I am sorry. That must be some chili! Perhaps you can suggest slight changes to the recipe that will make it more healthful in the future? It's hard to walk the line and not offend. :( My only suggestion would be to take small portions of what they are serving for dinner, to try to mitigate the "damage." Good luck

I love LUNA bars! They are great for snacks, or small meals. Just discovered LUNA Minis.... 80 cals and yummy. Perfect snack for me after the gym and before dinner! I found the minis at Target.

Cottage cheese Laughing Cow light cheese wedges and Wassa crackers hard boiled eggs apples fruit / veggies sugar free jello pudding (60 cals!) are among my favorites snacks!

Sometimes making a cup of tea helps! I would suggest some kind of mint tea; helps supress the appetite. :)
