It was a wild last couple of weeks there. My diet? Out the window, basically didn't log anything and ate food. Made changes to my goals, less focused on the # number and switched it over to the % number. (I started back on creatine which puts on water weight) So the scale showed me right at 196 this morning, but... I'm…

Great job! Going home to family is rough when you come from a "food is love" sort of family. Only gaining a pound in 9 days of that is incredible! You should be proud.

04/15: 197. Man... been a second. I gotta be honest that I am pretty stoked about this 197 because I've been on vacation in TX for the past 2 weeks with no gym and TX food... so... I'll take this 197. I bet it will be a fair bit lower next week.

I know I haven't been checking in. I'm travelling these 2 weeks and so don't have access to a scale. I feel like my NSV of looking better is going well. Hopefully the scale doesn't yell at me when I get back on it.
-
03/25: 194. I was really good this week, but at least some of that is dehydration from the 2 glasses of wine I had before bed. :)
-
That last 5 is a nightmare!
-
03/18: 197. There's the bump I expected. No worries. Back at it.

I started requesting they box half the meal up to-go when I order it. That way I'm not tempted to eat more than I should, and the money spent on eating out covers two meals. Just an option.

Mine is "The horrors persist, but so do I". Heh.
-
03/11: 195. Killin' it. Although I'm expecting a small rebound from not being in the gym while I've had a cold.
-
03/04: 197. That's realistically about 4-5 pounds down in Feb. That's right on track. Pound a week is good stuff. I'd love to be down to 190 by my b-day in May.
-
02/26: 199!!! Finally under that 200 mark. I fluttered between 196.5 and 199.5 over the last few days, so I'll take it!
-
02/19: 204. Kinda bounced off that 200# floor. I was right at 200 for a couple of days, then food happened. I've hit that stage in weight loss where my workouts are suffering. Lifting much less weight despite still going to the gym regularly. My joints ache. Had to do a bit of a refeed to feel better about the workouts,…
-
02/12: 201. A fair bit of that was just not having all the vacation food in my guts. And losing all that salt related water weight.
-
Welcome back everyone!! Here we go. Starting weight 205 (had a fun time in NYC though). Shooting for that 15 lb loss. Wouldn't be upset about more. I'll check in on Mondays. 02/05: 205. Let's get it!

Jan 29: 204 - Not bad. Looking forward to the next challenge.
-
I give it around 200 for the soup and 300-325 for the egg roll depending on how delicious it is.
-
Jan 22: 206 - Steady losses now. Those first drops when you really get back on the diet are so encouraging and then frustrating. I know it's just cleaning out my guts and losing the extra water from the salt and all that. I know losing 2 pounds in a week is phenomonal, but when I look at that 7 pound initial drop... It's…

Jan 15: 208 - Doesn't look like I'll make sub 200 by the end of Jan, but hopefully we carry over into another challenge in Feb and I can do sub 190 by May.
-
@200Karen Yeah, that weigh in really kicked me into gear. I've been "good" to the point of it being questionable for my mental health since then.
-
@deepwoodslady That's rough. I completely agree about the mental game being harder. Here's to some non-scale victories!
