I need to exercise!! I am so lazy though I do move around a lot. I just don't engage in intentional exercise. But I nanny which keeps me moving since she is crawling and we go for lots of walks. Plus she weighs at least 16 lbs so that counts right?! I also need to incorporate stretching into my days as well.

02/05: 205. Let's get it!
02/12: 201. A fair bit of that was just not having all the vacation food in my guts. And losing all that salt related water weight.
02/19: 204. Kinda bounced off that 200# floor. I was right at 200 for a couple of days, then food happened. I've hit that stage in weight loss where my workouts are suffering. Lifting much less weight despite still going to the gym regularly. My joints ache. Had to do a bit of a refeed to feel better about the workouts, but it had consequences.
02/26: 199!!! Finally under that 200 mark. I fluttered between 196.5 and 199.5 over the last few days, so I'll take it!
03/04: 197. That's realistically about 4-5 pounds down in Feb. That's right on track. Pound a week is good stuff. I'd love to be down to 190 by my b-day in May.

Hi! Jumping in a little late, but better than never! I’m a 34yo mom of a toddler. I lost about half my baby weight in the first few months after having her, but gained a good bit of it back thanks to poor eating and way too much drinking this entire past year after I suffered a very traumatic and unexpected loss of a parent last spring.
I’m about to be at the one-year anniversary of said loss, and I really want to see that as a fresh start. My goal is to do a sober month starting the day after the anniversary in tandem with healthier eating and regular exercise.
Started the healthier eating and “less” drinking already, so starting my weigh-ins then. Will attempt to weigh once or twice a week, but could use moral support more often so will be checking in generally more frequently!

03/01-DNW-(Trend Weight: DNW)- No weigh Friday as I get up extra early to get grandson ready for the bus. I only weigh later if I lay back down but today I can’t. Also I take my once-per-week Fosamax on this day with 8 oz of water upon waking. Yesterday was a good clean eating day but hardly any movement or exercise so my calorie burn overall was very low. Today will probably not allow me much better. One of the new windows was put in yesterday in the bedroom and floor in bath was prepped for new sub=flooring. A flurry of activity here. Well, my friends, Its a new month. Time to “March” into better health and a more optimal weight (for most of us). Let’s go!
03/05-177.4-(Trend Weight: 178.9)- I have my family doctor appointment later this afternoon located locally in the next town over. I think he’ll be pleased with my weight loss since I last saw him. I am beginning to see more loose skin so I would prefer to lose it slow but steady at my age. My secret desire, however, is to hit 169 point anything by my birthday May 10th. I have not been losing at a rate that would get me there so it is a dream for sure. Oh but what a dream!

Sorry I have been absent. We went on a perfect vacation getaway for four days. Really enjoyed our time away!! Rejuvenated me. We ate reasonably.
I have not weighed in yet. But I will once the salt swelling goes down! Eating out on a vacation can make me swell even if I try to eat less sodium filled food.

Same weight for days and days. I am stuck. I was losing when I was skipping or having a VERY light dinner, like soup, but lately have been accepting invitations out. Tonight is some place that is supposed to be one of the 50 best pizza places in the country My strategy tonight is to have a salad and maybe half a slice of this supposed heavenly pizza.5

Losing 3 lbs in one month is highly unusual for me at this point in my journey and I will probably gain at least a bit of this back once the meds really kick in and I start to feel like eating again. Right now this fever is really kicking my butt.
There are so many nasty illnesses making the rounds. I hope you all stay safe and healthy!

Even if you teeter-totter back and forth a pound or two, just being able to reach out and touch it is so AMAZING. Celebrate You my friend. You deserve it! @deepwoodslady - thank you so much!! I started to feel better yesterday afternoon and I actually felt like cooking. This morning I feel even stronger and hope to do an abbreviated cardio workout to ease myself back into exercising.

03/12-180.6-(Trend Weight: 179.5)- I traveled again yesterday which really upped the scale due to restaurant food for 2 of my meals. So much sitting when traveling! I am not worried though. I know I can get it back down, I just hate the set-backs and how it delays the progress. However, I must remember that this too shall pass and is inevitably part of the journey for us all.

OK at this rate I will need to change my goal weight for the month. Let's now say 152. I am just stuck in a cycle of eating well and moving for a day or so, followed by a huge dinner or too many sweets the next. The main culprit is going to out to eat, where the portions are huge and I have no say in the amount of butter in something.
