@Paz922 it started 8 years ago when I stepped on a screw. My diabetes didn't help the healing process at all. It added to continuous bone infections. I used to go through that day that I stepped on the screw over and over in my mind. I finally released it because I can't change it. If you could cut the diabetes off before your affected by it that would be a wonderful achievement!!
I've been so stuck mentally. I've kept with my set habits that I'm making into permanent parts of my daily routine. I haven't completed them all but have shown up for them and acknowledged my effort and am giving myself some grace.

I will spend all week working to get my rightful place back into the 170’s so I can hopefully post another drop next week. It’s like chasing my own tail, but I chase I will. Hey, I can use the exercise, right?
02/27-179.4-(Trend Weight: 180.2)- 7 whole days of all we go through on these journeys and not one dribble or drool of progress. The night time snacking has really gotten to me during this past week and there have been some emotional situations to deal with. But I had hoped that my good habits were a bit stronger. My meals have been on target and my exercise pretty steady. It’s the night time snacking, specifically the cravings for chocolate. I am no closer to conquering that demon than I was 20 years ago. Sugar, Chocolate. Pure Evil and they don’t fight fair in the battles. I am happy to see that my trend weight has dropped this week which reflects that I did hit some good weights along the way. I must strive for lasting results and better habits. It needs to be a sustainable way of life.

Random stuff about me:I am 59 years old this month (ouch). I currently live in Texas with my hubby and crew of kitty babies. I am a neonatal nurse practitioner and work 24hour shifts in a busy NICU. If it looks like I disappear on random days…that’s why! About 10 years ago I lost 135 pounds. Never made it to goal but just sort of leveled off at ~200 pounds. Over time I gained back nearly 50. Working on getting back at least to my low weight of 200. I would like to eventually make it to 150 where I think I would be comfortable.

02/19: 204. Kinda bounced off that 200# floor. I was right at 200 for a couple of days, then food happened. I've hit that stage in weight loss where my workouts are suffering. Lifting much less weight despite still going to the gym regularly. My joints ache. Had to do a bit of a refeed to feel better about the workouts, but it had consequences.
02/26: 199!!! Finally under that 200 mark. I fluttered between 196.5 and 199.5 over the last few days, so I'll take it!9 -

I’m late to join as February is almost over, but I have had so much success here before, I’m back!
I have 68 days until I go back for my 6 month testing/appointments at the Mayo Clinic and I need to lose the 10ish pounds I have gained from them tripling my prednisone dosage in October. I have been voraciously hungry. 😩.
Anyway, I’m committed. Ideally I should be less than 197 fully clothed by May 6. I actually need to refocus and lose about 50 pounds, but one step at a time…

Good: I did lose 2.2 lbs. I have drastically cut back on alcohol, even having zero drinks the last 8 days. This obviously helped with mindless snacking that usually accompanies drinking.
Not so good: Didn't exercise as much as I should. Too much sugar. Too many carbs.
Goals for March: Lose 5.8 lbs. Eat as clean and unprocessed as possible. I have a physical April 6 and want my blood work and weight as good as they can be.
Overall, I am pleased.9 -
For February I released 1.6 lbs
Next month I'm visualizing a few more

For the next couple of months I will be eyeing the 160’s and dreaming, longing and yearning for that new decade which will bring me even better health. Nice round everyone! The final count is a 4.6 loss for me in February. I will continue to make a 4 lb loss my monthly goal as I would love to lose 4 pounds a month even on the months when it just seems my body has a different idea. So any progress is very good and I am very happy to end with a loss and make goal this time around.

03/01-DNW-(Trend Weight: DNW)- No weigh Friday as I get up extra early to get grandson ready for the bus. I only weigh later if I lay back down but today I can’t. Also I take my once-per-week Fosamax on this day with 8 oz of water upon waking. Yesterday was a good clean eating day but hardly any movement or exercise so my calorie burn overall was very low. Today will probably not allow me much better. One of the new windows was put in yesterday in the bedroom and floor in bath was prepped for new sub=flooring. A flurry of activity here. Well, my friends, Its a new month. Time to “March” into better health and a more optimal weight (for most of us). Let’s go!

Well, I'm back on track. Current Sunday weight and stats below:
02/25: 150.2 - Day 1
03/03: 148.2 - WK. 1
Week 01 Loss: 2.0 lbs.
Since Restart : 2.0 lbs.
So there it is. I plan to keep this going!

Much better. I stuck to my calorie limit 6 days out of 7, one day off to go to a restaurant. Same plan this week.7
