Do not go in all or nothing because the first time you go over your calories, skip the gym etc. you will give up. Realize that you won't eat 1300 (or whatever your number is) calories every single day, some days you will over sleep your 5am gym alarm and you will want that piece of cheese cake at that book club/baby…

I would try the P90X Ab Ripper X...it is only 16 minutes but wonderful, when you get past the pain it is even fun ;) You shouldnt have to buy the entire P90X system, you might be able to find it on YouTube or something...

I have had both and I would say the Ninja is better....the magic bullet is harder to clean and mine ended up breaking...

Something that has encouraged me to work out is joining a gym with group fitness classes. They are kind of intimidating at first but when I walk in I find the trainer and just say "I have never done this class before can you tell me what I should know?"

OMG you look amazing! Thank you for posting this we are very similar (I will be turning 23 in July and I started at about 174, goal 140), so this was great motivation!

well...lets just say week 1 is not going so hot for me....I have been under my calorie goal 2/4 days (better than 0/4 I guess...)!

I really like the "think thin" bars! They have 20grams protein and I dont remember how many carbs but I don't think it is very much and they are delicious! The only draw back is that they are pretty spendy, the cheapest place I have found them is Trader Joes.

Just wanted to update how my goals are going in order to keep myself accountable! Water: Sunday-maybe I didnt keep track, Monday-YES! Sleep: 1/2-last night was only about 6.5 Food: 2/2 Exercise: JIllian 2/3 (I havent done it yet today but I am going as soon as I am done with this post), Cardio 1/2 Good luck everyone!

Lots of water, try captain and diet coke (about 60 calories I believe), try lighter beer-there are a couple that have like 55-60 calories (personally I do not do this, if I am going to drink a beer I am going to drink something good), drink slower so you drink less (have 1 or 2 instead of 5 or 6). I can definitely relate to your post! I have also been to that point where none of my clothes fit anymore and I first said "I am NOT buying anymore I just need to fit into the ones that I have" which ended up backfiring and I gained a few more pounds and had to buy new clothes. But now I am back to MFP for my second time…
