Let's keep this active!! I have my hypertension controlled with diet and ExForge. I am eating a low salt diet and working to lose weight. Remember to take one day at a time. I'm right there with you. I see my bad eating as bad habits. Stick to healthy food, portion sizes. You can do this!

I lose more weight and more inches when I eat low salt. I lose a lot of the water I am retaining. I have hypertension and ckd 2 so I have to keep my salt low. When I am real good at keeping salt below 1500 for a week I can have a 7 lb weight loss and 3 inches loss of waist line.

Have fruit, veges, etc. If you can eat nuts, pack them for a…

4 lbs is weight loss in my book. Most healthy weight loss is 1 - 2 lbs a week. I'm 5'6" and on 1800 calories. I couldn't maintain the 1250 the MFP put me on. I am losing weight on the 1800. Remember muscle weighs more than fat. I'm not a nutritionist or a doctor. But in my research there is nothing wrong dairy or gluten…

I weight and measure everything because if I am eating some I really like; I want to make sure I got as much as I logged. (Hello ice cream!) But also I have health issues. I have to be very careful it effects my health. But I think everyone here will tell you to take a day at a time.

I have never had this problem. If it doesn’t match what my recipe has it usually is a logging issue on my part. I picked the wrong ingredient when loading

I enter my recipes. It is important for my health to stay within my doctor’s guidelines. I cannot guess that someone’s recipe or restaurant will match mine. Once most of your regular recipes are in there it is quite easy to log.

I find keeping myself busy helps. Exercise is very helpful, I am also on daily medication. And keeping what I think positive. We are so much what we tell our selves.

Met my goal today. I am within all my categories today. within oxalate count, within sodium count, within protein count, within fat count, within sugar count and I got 60 minutes of exercise today. I actually exceed my goals for today and I am delighted.
