I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in 2010. Actually just had my second round of radiation treatment last month. It is scary at first, mostly because the word cancer makes you think of all kinds of terrible things. But it was actually not that bad. I found another tip about weighing things like butter or oil etc. Instead of weighing the bread before and after (and getting crumbs everywhere) weigh the tub of butter before, take out what you want and then weigh it again and check how much less it is! No mess no fuss!

I got irritated by the red number that appeared after a few apples so I changed my columns, Now mfp shows my daily fiber instead which is much more useful to me:)

If you have an android phone / tablet you can also check the app store for workout programs. I found a free one with video's showing all the moves. Its just body weight exercise and hand weights so its easy to do at home. I haven't started using it but it looks really nice and more importantly for me easy to use!…

BMR = 2263 Daily Goal = 1740 I end up under the goal on most days though, often by about 400-500

My backup plan is those boxes of fish / chicken portions you can cook in the oven. I just put the fish and veggies on a baking tray and put it in the oven, set a timer and then go do something else until its done. Quick and easy!

Toasted nut muesli mixed with fruit (usually strawberries) and yogurt. On weekends when I have time to cook scrambled eggs with mushrooms or sweet peppers.
