I'm Beth. I'm 43 and from central Oregon. First time doing a challenge. Six weeks ago I made a goal of losing 44 lbs by my 44th birthday. I'm down 10 lbs so far. Not bad considering Thanksgiving, Christmas and an unplanned surgery all happened during that time. I'm doing C25K and trying to eat healthy. I have a serious…

My goal is 165. I was 155 when I was a cheerleader/ballet dancer in high school and there was no jiggle to my wiggle! Don't really expect that 25+ years later, but would love to get WAY less jiggly!

I want to join! I need to bust through this plateau I've hit.

I'm only 5'9, but I went down a pants size when I lost about 20 lbs. but it took another 5 lbs before people started noticing - that was just this week. Keep at it, I bet you will be jean shopping soon!

I'm 5'9 and looking to lose another 40 lbs. I've lost 25 so far since August, and I never thought I'd be able to say that! Feel free to add me.

YOU have made me want to start strength training. And to hear that you do it at home is even more good news.

That's why you're here - to make a change. Focus on doing what you need to do, each day, to make that change happen. It's not easy, otherwise we would all look like supermodels. Every day you have to make choices. Choose to keep moving toward your goal. Don't dwell on the bad days, just keep moving forward. It doesn't…

I'm on about day 7 of Level 2. I'm also doing C25K, so I'm not really following the 30 day plan, but I LOVE it. I was just thinking this morning how I hate Jillian, but I love the results I'm getting. I've lost 4 inches from my hips, 4 inches from my waist, an inch from each arm, and an inch from each thigh. I just bought…

I did it for a while, until I seriously hurt my lower back doing the Ab Ripper routine. I thought I was modifying the moves enough, but I guess not. It's taken me a month (3 chiro appts, 2 accupuncture appts, and 2 massages later) to recover. I switched to 30 day shred (you can watch on youtube) and C25k. When they say…

I just started going to a naturopath and she recommended that I drink 1 tsp ACV 10 minutes before meals to speed up metabolism. I haven't tried it yet, and now I'm a little scared to!

I love the spirit of this thread, too. While I do not yet love my thighs, I am working towards it. I love the progress they are making. As a former cheerleader and dancer, I know that I have strong, powerful legs that have just been neglected for too long. I am working hard to restore them to their full glorious potential.…

I'll be 40 (I am so not ready to accept that!) in May. I started trying to be healthier last June, and so far I've lost 19 pounds. I'd like to lose 21 more by May, and another 20 by October (15th anniversary and wanna get back in the wedding dress!). I am ready to be fabulous at forty!

1) Get at least 7 hours of sleep each night. 2) Wake early to exercise, instead of exercising at night. 3) Lose 4 pounds. 4) Finish C25k. 5) Drink 100 oz of water each day.

Wow! I'm so happy for you. I started C25k around the same time, but I'm still on week 4 due to bronchitis followed by a back injury. But I still keep plugging along! Someday I will have similar success! Thanks for the inspiration to keep at it and congrats on your terrific progress!

Congratulations! That is HUGE. I was so happy just to run for 3 minutes straight last night. So proud of you for not letting negativity control you!

That's an awesome NSV! I was so happy when I was able to buy jeans a smaller size. I can't wait to go down another size!

I just did day 2 today also. I can't believe how sore I was after day 1. i'm a little worried about not being able to walk tomorrow! It's a great workout. Yesterday I burned over 300 calories in less than 30 minutes, and it really didn't feel like I was working that hard. It was harder today because I'm sore. Burned 265…

That's awesome. Congratulations! I am stuck on week 4 due to being sick with bronchitis for about 2 weeks. I can't wait to get back into it again. It will be an amazing day when I complete the program. You should be so proud of yourself!
-
Great job! You should be very proud of all your hard work. I'm scheduled to do my first 5K on Thanksgiving and I'm so nervous!
