To be honest i don't really weigh my self anymore - as long as I know i'm on the right tracks I'm okay with it, although I can also avoid them when I'm not behaving myself... I weight train too so I have mixed feelings about actual weight loss (so long as clothes that fit now continue to fit) I guess it depends on your…

Feel free to add me - you can never have too many friends! I log everyday although my diary's still private... :-S 27, 5ft 7' and about 10lbs to go, eating 1400 + exercise cals back Marie

^^^^^ Glad I'm not the only one!!!! I feel obsessed with food and if I'm not being very good, I'm binging, probably because I'm mentally exhausted. I'm just as bad with exercise - if I miss a day or binge I try and make up for it (it's not that easy sadly)! I exercise at 5.30am every morning to get it done before work…

I took up drinking green tea a couple of years back - i never drank tea or coffee but I did have fizzy drinks. I never liked it at first but now I rather enjoy it as my nice warm drink at the beginning of the day or when others are offering their hot drinks! I can't say that it had any particular effect on my weight loss…

yes, planning lunch and taking food into work really helped for me! I started with yoghurt and blueberries for breakfast, banana or another bit of fruit mid morning, and salad (sweetcorn, tomatoes, spinach, fish or chicken), carrots/cucumber and hummus mid-afternoon, and pots, chicken/fish and plenty of veg in the evening.…

1g / 1kg in BW of protein for normal people, only a bit more bulking. If you were on a high protein low carb diet, the protein would be used for energy (unless you were over eating, then it would be stored as fat too), but as someone mentioned before, it can lead to kidney problems...

amazing work everyone!!! bumping for a proper look later :)

We all have to start somewhere and will continue to learn as we go so don't feel intimidated by us, we all were beginners once... Just take small steps / changes everyday and they will form into big steps. Only we can make them. Surround yourself with reminders to why you're making the changes. After some time they will…

It's really helped me understand how many calories are in food, balance of food came after that... We all generally know what is good and bad, but I found some shocking cals in even the 'good' food! It's helped me say no a bit more often to the sweet treats (real sweet tooth here)... It's enabled me to find support and…

Love it! Need to rid the house of all crappy food and start a fresh, i got so close but my sweet tooth got the better of me, again and again! :-/

u only fail when you quit altogether!!!! Welcome back, request being sent your way now!

The voucher option is because it costs the companies less in tax... We currently get £10-£20 John Lewis voucher, which is better than nothing I guess, but one day it would be nice to have a % of the salary back, although i am not holding out any hope for such things where I am at the moment! x

Amazing story, you should be so proud!!! I am interested to know though, what dietary changes you made? What did you find a love for, and what do you now avoid at all costs?? Just curious! Well done again!
-
How long have you been incorporating this change for? How do you feel and what would you like to achieve? I can't see a big difference... If you're trying to bulk, you might like to consider some protein shakes if you struggle to eat enough. You need the food fuel in order to build muscle. You might what to cut back on the…

fantastic! you should be very proud of yourself!

There's a saying "Easy to do, easy not to do" in a book I'm reading called The Slight Edge (highly recommend). On the day you think, 'it's not going to kill me' or 'it won't ruin everything' today but those small decisions, good or bad, over a long period of time will effect you. This really helped me take a turn again as…

Sorry you're suffering :( Try adding more fruit and veg to your diet. Running always seems to get things going for me too. I gave up smoking about 7 days ago but not had any problems in that department... good luck!
