Run away. Run far. Run. All the comments on the BB website shows the scam this is. Nothing is free. Go see your doctor and start a plan that is medically supervised. At least that visit is free here in Canada...

I work in an office too. Same issues. Get up and walk during the day. Walk at lunch. Walk to get a glass of water. Take the stairs instead of the elevator. Park further away or get off the bus one stop before you need to, and walk. Also, as others suggested, change your activity level in MFP and let it help you calculate…

Hello. Everyone struggles with some type of food or activity that is a trigger to eat, and for me, even when I'm not really hungry. For example, after a long day, I enjoy watching a game on TV, but that's a trigger for me to snack. I used to easily put away 500-1,000 calories in snacking after dinner - a few cookies, a…

Once a week, Friday morning, before I step into the shower. I find that even the day to day changes drive me bonkers, so once a week evens out those ups and downs.

If you lack time, how about a peanut butter sandwich on whole wheat bread, or a pita, for breakfast on the run? Almost 400 calories and portable food. Add something to that salad - grilled chicken, boiled eggs, sliced nuts, or even a healthy fat like olive oil. For dinner, I'd toss in a quick veggie with that fish.…

Kale. Worst thing that grows, ever. Fish. Yea, healthy, low fat, full of Omega whatevers...cannot stand the smell, taste and texture.

1980 Chevy Monza. Gears so loose I didn't need the clutch from 2nd through 4th. Got me to and from school from 1986 to 1988, and then I sold it for $400 to buy another crappy Chevy. You think I would learn - still driving Chevy vehicles.

we have all become whiny because we are all friggin' starving on our 1,000 calorie a day diets... Seriously, though, a couple of years ago I used to spend a couple of hours a day on here, chatting and hanging out. Now, a few minutes a week.

I work for a very large bank in their corporate offices. No set policy on ink, but nobody has any visible ink, nor do they have piercings beyond regular earrings, or a very subtle, small nose stud. Our branches are public facing, and staff need to look professional all the time. I'm sure a small wrist tattoo would be fine,…

I filter my water through coffee grounds, and then add cream and sugar. I'm still alive, and surely a little lemon would be better for you than that.. Seriously, though, unless you are drinking a LOT of lemon juice, the water probably dilutes it enough to lessen the concern about your tooth enamel, and as for digesting…

I am Canadian. We love Americans. We love to visit the USA to stock up on cheap booze, cheese and work on our tan. We like to eat at Olive Garden, because we used to have them, and then almost all of them closes up here, so we hit 'em hard when we go south of the 49th. We watch the same TV shows as our American cousins…

Not a vegetarian, but I do not eat red meat, and have the same concerns. I have to take an iron supplement, because I suffer from low iron stores. I also have a bowl of iron fortified cereal for my snack at night - Raisin Bran, 90% iron Mini Wheats, etc.

You should stop drinking Diet Pepsi right now. You should drink Coke Zero. Tastes so much better, and I own shares of Coca-Cola in my retirement fund. You'll be helping me retire that much sooner.

I promised for better or for worse. I don't get to pick what "worse" is. Only death will separate my wife and I. My Mom has stuck by my Dad through 30 years of depression, treatment and the personal toil it has taken, but she is still beside him, and he is much better now. If she left, I have no doubt he would be dead by…

Before our son was old enough to be home along - once in a blue moon. Maybe once every three months, max. Now that he can stay home for several hours alone, we go shopping frequently, and perhaps dinner or a movie once a month or so. We really do like having him along with us, so much more likely to go out as a family to…

Absolutely. If only they would let me fire up the roaster at the office....

You called? Love me some coffee. Never been an issue with weight management, and I've dropped 30 lbs while enjoying my two or three cups a day.

Don't be silly. Crushed ice is a solid, and as such should be logged as food, not as water. Remember, ONLY water is water.
-
As a shareholder of Coca Cola stock in my RRSP, I would ask you to switch to yummy Dasani bottled water. So good for you! Seriously, though, good for you. I enjoy an occasional one, but not a daily one, so if you can switch out to water, or something else without the fake sugar in it, all the power to you.

Well, I manage 10 people at work, so me showing up for work probably annoys them every day.
