the question is if I could still be sore from a regular workout done 3 days ago haha, that shop is shut DOWN. thanks though :)

my sister had bariatric weight loss surgery and she didn't see her weight loss until she was in a size 6...her previous size was a 26. Since she lost 200 lbs, she still saw flab and skin. It's really hard to lose the excess skin, but it's not fat. Perhaps it is body dysmorphia because a size 4 US is small, IMO. Have you…

If you can do some indoor cardio you won't be as far behind.

no, it's not giving up! Keep working out and get back in to it when weather permits! It's actually good to cross-train and build up leg, back and core muscles that will help you run more efficiently.

I'm kind of glad this was started, but I hope the girls who have super unhealthy and unrealistic goals will listen up and realize.

I have ironed the bottom of a shirt while wearing it :)

It took my mom over a year if you count all her wrong diagnoses and the doctors who thought she was a hypochondriac. She has found some things to help. Thanks and I do hope your meds work. I got nosy and looked up your medicine and her disease is contraindicated in there. She has Porphyria.

I have lactose intolerance. If I eat dairy I'm on the toilet for at least an hour with cramps the entire time. But if anyone ate what you eat, they'd probably have diarrhea too. If that's all you eat, then what the others have said is right. THere are tons of information on healthy diet plans. You body needs a GOOD balance…

I surely hope this is a joke. If not, you need to tell your parents this goal. NO one at that height should even think about being below 110 lbs.

good going, keep it up!

Height? 5'6" Starting weight? 174 Current weight? 159 Goal Weight? 145 Age? 33 How many calories you eat a day? 1450 before any exercise

I read multiple orgasms then had to go back to re-read. I'm with the group of people that feel regular old food and water plus exercise will get your results.

I'll go check you out :) My mom has a rare blood disorder that mimicked Lupus. Good luck with your getting better :)
-
my main question is am I eating the right stuff? IDK what to eat
-
I'm the same height and your current weight is my goal. Are you exercising? What if you throw in some different workouts to tone up? You might be surprised and what that can do.
-
I'd talk to a nutritionist or your doctor. I just watched a nutritionist talking about Gluten Free diets and how hard it is for people with Celiac and other gluten issues to lose weight. Good Luck :)

I got a Polar FT4 at Best Buy for around $60. Now is a good time though, you might find a good deal b/c of Black Friday. Make sure it has the chest strap so you get an accurate reading.

I'm a teacher and I've never heard of this. Why are they weighing her? I'd call the principal and inquire about this and ask for some sort of rule or law that says the nurse can screen kids for that. Really, schools around me can't screen for ANYTHING unless the parents sign for it. And sending a letter home about obesity…

Polar FT4. It has the chest strap. It's really easy to use and I feel it's very accurate.

you don't? I always question the common sense things. But if I make my lunch for the day I'm not going to peel my banana 4 hours before I eat it.

In my case, I thought I was helping and showing support. I think when people get offended (and I get offended very easily), it's because we're rejecting people's attempts at support. Thanks for showing us the other side.

Sorry to agree, but my brother is in size 4X and like a size 56 pants. He's close if not over 400 lbs. I wrote a very similar post a month ago and until she wants to do it, it's not going to happen. It's hard to talk to my brother so what I did was write an email and sent it to him and never mentioned it again. I have…

I think you need to worry about how you feel. Your boyfriend sounds like an @$$hole and he can't and shouldn't tell you you need to lose weight. I'm 5'6" and my goal is 145. IMO, your middle picture is way too skinny....if I saw you on the beach I'd think you were depriving yourself. There's one of those pinterest/fb…

I was inspired by many people on another forum to do Couch to 5k. I wanted to get fit and loved the idea of working out every other day. I LOVED it! Prior to that, I tried running and couldn't do it. It hurt, I couldn't breathe. Couch to 5k (C25k) made it so easy for me to do it. The increments of running make it…

I'm a teacher, been married 6 years and have 2 fabulous boys. I've been slacking as of late, but I ran today and finally tracked all my food!

I can't remember where I read this but since I workout at 5am I was looking up if I should eat or not and it said that your body lacks glycogen and protein helps fuel your body quickly. So, I have a whey protein thing right when I wake up.

I made this recipe from skinnytaste.com and for one person, it could feed you for like 6 days. It's the crockpot santa fe chicken.

Whenever I've been I haven't been dieting, but I know they have a Veggie Platter. Get no butter or oil.
