I'm on my last 25 pounds. Or maybe my last 40 pounds. I still haven't decided when I am "done"... and given how long I have been at this weight, it might be that I am, in fact, "done" losing weight. I have been at this weight for about 2 months. Granted, I haven't been as die-hard about watching my calories, and I haven't…

Not near enough! About 5-6, broken up into 2-hour chunks. Sigh. What's the high temperature today, where you are?
-
We have 5 kids, so the answer is yes. :) What kind of shoes are you wearing right now?
-
A Prius on the outside and a minivan on the outside. And it's paid off. I'm officially old and boring! If you had $100 to spend on anything, what's the first thing you'd do?

Apathy is evil. What is your biggest pet peeve?
-
As little as possible. Maybe 5 times. In my whole life. (shudder) Do you make your bed every morning?
-
snort. Evidently not. Because I was trying to think of a smart-*kitten* response to the same question, and I came up blank. :) What's the worst bad driving habit you have?

Hubby and I are taking a 7-day southern Caribbean cruise. We're calling it the Smokin' Hot Wife Cruise. :) What was/is for lunch today?
-
Not much. Vanilla ice cream and chocolate shell just doesn't thrill me. Now, a deep fried Klondike Bar, on the other hand... oh my. What's the last live musical performance or concert you went to?
-
I guess, technically, it's a drink: boiled custard How did you learn "the truth" about Santa?

Feetures running socks, airline ticket to visit a friend in NJ, marathon registration fee. How often do you weigh yourself?

Went to a huge craft fair today, finished up a little Christmas shopping, finally made some progress on wrapping gifts. Tonight was movie night with the family... And unfortunately I fell asleep during the movie. Sure wish I knew how it ended... Tomorrow is church and grocery shopping. My cupboard is terribly bare! Wow.…

I plan to focus on the event, or the people, and not the food. As far as food goes, it's just another day for me. And I start marathon training on Sunday. Eek. What's your favorite snack food?

Do it do it do it do it do it do it do it. And in case that wasn't clear enough... DO IT! It is a HUGE motivation! I took photos every month. Those months when I felt like the scale hadn't moved like I thought it should, I could look at my Before picture and realize how far I had come. My before picture(s) also serve as a…

Girlfriend! You. Are. STUNNING. Seriously. Incredibly gorgeous. And how did I not know you had that freakin' adorable southern accent? ;) Congratulations to you on your anniversary, your progress, your selfless act of love with donating your "security blanket", and your amazing transformation. It's wonderful to see that…

My starting weight is quite a bit higher than yours, and I am currently at 185, but I am definitely hourglass shaped. And in "real" clothes... Stats: 5'7" SW: 315 CW: 185 GW: No goal weight... 24% body fat is my goal Best wishes to you!

Wow! I have to say again that I am totally overwhelmed by the responses here. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your support and affirmation. Maybe it's because I look at the pictures for a long time while I edit them or while I am composing a post, but I sometimes find myself wondering, "Is there really a difference…

I love the MFP community! Thanks for your comments, messages, feedback, and encouragement. It means the world to me and it's one of the big reasons I've been able to stay committed to this new way of living. I always felt like a failure because everyone said "One day at a time" was the key, but I couldn't even make it…

This from the guy with a chicken on his head. (Just teasing!) Congrats to you on your progress! It's awesome how you are making small, realistic lifestyle changes and reaping the benefits. Keep up the good work. :drinker: Cheers to you!

The three methods of calculating BF% was a great help. Wow... huge disparity in the 3 numbers. Glad to read others are seeing that as well, so I know that it's not just me doing something wrong. Thanks bunches for the terrific info. Turns out I need to be eating more. Yikes!

I so feel your pain. And 130 pounds later, I still have to strap down the girls to avoid 2 black eyes. :) Based on advice received on my own posting of almost the exact same question, I started doubling up on my bras for exercise. I wear my regular underwire super-supportive bra, and then on top of that I wear a…

You're right: your ticker IS gorgeous! And so are you! :flowerforyou: Congratulations to you and what you have accomplished. Truly inspiring how you have reclaimed your life. Best wishes to you!

It absolutely works! It's a great program to ease into becoming a runner. I was 240 pounds when I started C25K. I ran my first 5K on April 20, and I will run my first half-marathon on October 5. I'm down to 185 pounds now. Sticking to healthy food choices has had a lot more to do with my weight loss than any amount of…

Wow! What a difference! You look amazing! Congratulations on your progress!
-
Yup, I see a definite difference. Keep going! If this is just three weeks, imagine what another 3 weeks is gonna do. Whoo hoo!
-
Thanks, friends! You know how to make a heart happy. :smooched: :flowerforyou:

Sometimes, I eat back some of them. Maybe 100-200 calories. Just a little extra wiggle room.
-
So glad you are here! Keep coming back! :)

Eat right to lose weight; exercise to change your body shape. Two different goals, two different approaches. Drink water. A lot of water. Exercise is not a punishment for eating too many calories. It's a way to celebrate the amazing capabilities of the body you're blessed with. Never, never, never, never give up.
