Haha! And by the way, they are the same.

This one made me so sad:( especially the part about still not feeling good enough. You ARE good/smart/pretty enough! {{{hugs}}}

I just wanted to pop in to give a final update. I lost 5.3 lbs in April thanks to my first challenge on MFP. It was a successful one! Going for another 5 lbs by May 13th! A pretty aggressive goal but I can do it!
-
With only 4 days left in this challenge, how is everyone doing? I am down 5.5 and hope for another .5 by the 30th.

They actually have a tuna calculator on this website: http://www.ewg.org/research/tuna-calculator Hope that helps!
-
I've never heard of any adverse effects from eating too much tuna. But then again, I hardly consume it. Have you tried Googling?

Another one here for 'never heard of peeling a mushroom'. I believe they are only meant to be gently wiped or brushed with a very soft bristled brush called a mushroom brush. I only know there is such a thing as a mushroom brush because I won one once as a door prize at a kitchen party,

My heart goes out to you Phyllis. It's never a good feeling when efforts in a relationship are not reciprocated:( congratulations to your son and his accomplishments! I'm sure you tell him how proud you are every chance you get:) And regarding the depression, I totally get it. I too, suffer. For me, if I can get outside in…

Too funny! I refer to my 19 yr old son as my "man child". Hahaha! Hope he is feeling back to normal soon!

Oh no:( for sadness! I was gone all stinkin day yesterday with a dead cell battery and missed a day of logging. So my tally thing starts over:( on a positive note, I lost .3 of a lb! And that is with eating out. Twice! How in the world did that happen. Lol My day consisted of I taking DS for an all day Rituxamab infusion.…

Hellllooooo? Anybody there? Just popping in to say I am .2 away from my 5 lb loss for April. How's everyone else doing?

I love this ONLY because of the happy ending. I'm so glad you were able to get the "I love you..." Before she took her last breath. Cannot imagine the hurt you felt growing up.

Hey, what is everyone's plans for Easter Dinner? I have been so wrapped up in my teenage sons kidney failure and trips to the hospital and Dr that I don't even know for sure when Easter even is! I think it's next weekend;/ whatever I'm cooking will be a kidney friendly diet which is very new to us but my husband and I will…

I'm new to the April challenge too. Or ANY challenge for that matter. I don't see why you couldn't do inches instead of lbs. good luck to you!
-
I hear you on the headaches GF! Been struggling with them for the last 4 days myself. 1st week in I lost 4 lbs right out of the gate but this second week (so far) has me gaining one lb back. I need to get this headed in the right direction again! Congrats on not gaining!

You ARE a good match for me:) FR sent!

Day 8 and doing well! Haven't fallen off the wagon yet! Son had another Dr appointment today(he is 19 and losing his transplanted kidney) so a little bit of stress and worry going on but I'm not letting ANYTHING get in my way. By the way, did I tell you my biggest motivator in losing weight is so I can qualify to be his…

I am motivated by the fact that a close family member will need a kidney transplant and I am an excellent match but I'm still about 30 lbs too heavy.

Update on son in the hospital with kidney problems: His biopsy went well. NO rejection but he does have to start self catheterizing daily at home. As scary as the word REJECTION is, it would have been better because treatment to reverse it is just 3 days of IV Prednisone and away we go. He is only 19. A lifetime of daily…

Grandmallie, Ouch! That sounds painful! I have a son who had a kidney transplant 17 years ago.

Wow Tere! That's incredible. Great job! Care to share your secret? (Heading over to see if you have an open diary for some fresh ideas)

You can definitely find something healthy on the Red Robin menu! Instead of a ground beef burger on a bun with bottomless fries and a coke you can get a chicken breast wrapped in lettuce with a side salad, Lite Ranch on the side and unsweetened ice tea! I think your Sunday tradition is fabulous. Good job Mom:flowerforyou:

Since readjusting goals I have slowed my weight loss down to a more acceptable rate. I lost .3 lbs yesterday bringing my total loss for April to 4 lbs. I have managed to pretty much stick to my original goals. What I have failed at is sugar. I still crave it from time to time and have given in to it this weekend. It…

Sometimes this is the BEST motivator.
You are incorrect. "Average" weight people can and do develop plantar fasciitis. I was 60lbs lighter when I went through a two year bout of this.
Thank you for correcting me. I just read that being overweight is just ONE cause.
