I had a beautiful Tanzanian ruby and an indicolite (blue) tourmaline mounted into a pendant for a lot of money. I 'd purchased the stones separately as well so a lot of $$$ tied up into a stunning piece that I gave to the wrong girl. My wife saw a photo of the stones and agreed I gave it to the wrong girl.

Oh Mike. Inquiring minds want to know more.

For me... I'm thinking a huge lot of Barbies for $450. I'll find out tonight. Or in the next few months. Yes, I am an avid Barbie lover. There is one I know I want and 3 I know others will want. The rest I am hoping to sell for profit. Will see.

Replaced our old DE pool filter with a cartridge filter on the advice of the pool guy. I loathe it and every month when I spend two freaking hours cleaning it and hurting my back I curse that man and all his descendants.

My husband would say his escalade. Drives like a pig and he's always banging into things because it's too big. I'd rather drive my 11 year old sequoia than his car.

200 dollar colorful rubber bands aka bodylastic resistance bands. They get absolutely no use, since I find free weights much more comfortable.
As a child I'd go with X-ray vision goggles I saw in an ad , I egged my mom and saved a months allowance only to be disappointed d when I couldn't see through anything with them. :-(

All those nice Dockers as I was losing weight. Now that I'm in a 34 waist, some lucky guy at the thrift store will be finding 40's, and 38's. I'm keeping the 36's for now. I do have lots of belts.

    1979 Ford pickup

    I payed $3000.

Instant regret. I got auction excited and refused to let the guy win.

I spent $4500 fixing it up.

    More regret.

I learned how to fix old cars through trial and error and a couple community college classes. It now looks awesome.

    No longer regret it.

My second Window's phone. After finding out that it no longer works with Zune and they replaced it with an inferior program a 3rd grader could have made. :grumble:

Oh.. and after it cracked in my purse.. and then again when I dropped it.

And now some more that it's hemorrhaging battery life.

I LOVE my LitterMaid, which is pretty much the same.. But my cat requires the litterbox be emptied every time he uses it. Lucky he's cute.

I regret my last computer purchase. It was just under $300, but it was SO SLOW and just a piece of crap. My BF got me an Alienware for Christmas and it's magical. Now I want my $300 back.

I bought a refurbished HP for $189. I regret it everyday. It will go black and reboot a few times a day. But, but, but, I saved lots of money.
