Hi everyone! I am excited to be joining this group. My goal for this month is 64 miles total. I've done several of Leslie's dvds in the past but not really consistently. This month I think I am going to use Leslie's 4 Fast Miles and possibly others if needed.

I typically drink 8 cups but my goal is to try and drink a gallon ( 16 cups) of water each day. I have heard that you should try to drink half of your body weight so for example if you weighed 200 lbs then you would drink 100 oz. of water.

Do you happen to live near an Aldi grocery store? Their prices for produce are much cheaper than other grocery stores and much of their other merchandise is generic but of good quality. If there's one near you it'd definitely be worth your while to check it out for chicken, other meats, peanut butter, avocado, breads,…

Looks so yummy! I've heard of those flat breads but haven't tried them so thanks for the recommendation. And those meatballs look tasty, I'll have to see if I can find them next time I'm at Costco. Thanks for the calorie breakdown too! You rock!

This is how I make my smoothie but you can adjust it according to your taste by switching out milk for yogurt or varying the type of fruit. I always use a banana as the sweetener so that I don't have to add any extra sugar or artificial sweetener. 1 cup fat free milk 1 cup frozen peaches 1 cup frozen strawberries 1 banana…

Day 2 Done!!! I have to say that the fact it is only 20 minutes long is such a motivator for me when it comes time to push play. By the way, just wanted to check...are there supposed to be any rest days at all? How long are you planning on staying on level 1?

Thanks so much ladies...your words of wisdom really made me feel better. You'll also never believe what else really made me feel so much better--working out! Once I worked out today it was like I shook myself out of that funk and remotivated myself. You all are right that this is a life change and I have to cut myself some…

Help! I feel like I'm sabotaging myself...I have been faithful to my health goals for the past two weeks or so (allowing in my calories for some treats on weekends) and then a couple of days ago...I just stopped! I don't really know why I did...it's like all of a sudden I have no drive to work out and I want to eat every…

Congrats!!! That is wonderful!!! Any advice of what helped you achieve success?

Hi Janine! Congrats on losing all your weight! Would you share some of your tips for success?
-
I agree with you TooFatToFit, I have SUCH a hard time staying on program during the weekends but during the week I'm always under! It's making me a little crazy but I know that I have to plan better for my weekends to continue to be successful. I am a carb lover and I tend to go overboard on the carbs on weekends.

Hi everyone! I am 5'2 and am looking to drop about 25 lbs total. I've lost about 4 lbs so far but would love to hear ideas from all of you about how you have achieved success and avoided temptation. Feel free to add me as a friend so us shorties can support each other! :)
