  • I just finished week 2 of this program, I'm loving it so far. Feel free to friend request me, and we can keep up with each other.
  • Cycling is a great place to start. You are in charge of that bike, you can go at your own pace, even if the instructor is telling you to go faster. It's really up to you on how far you want to push yourself. I find with cycling at least if you go "slower" no one will notice where in a lot of the other classes If I couldn't…
  • I having been avoiding it for weeks. My diet and exercise has been great, I just don't care what it says, because I know I'm doing everything right, and if the scale says, wrong, well, I just can't deal with it. So, I'm going to keep doing what I'm doing, and when I'm ready I'll get back on it :)
  • You need a calorie deficit of 21,875 calories every week to achieve this goal . Good luck with that. I think you need to start with a more realistic goal, even 20 lbs by the end of August will make a significant difference in the way you feel about yourself. I am also 5'4 and started at 224. It took me over 6 months to…
  • This look yummy. I see thus in my lunch future. Thanks
  • I've tried a lot ig them. Mrm egg white protein is my fav. I use 1/4 banana, frozen organic spinach, blueberry, strawberry is pretty much my go too, with a tbs of flax seed. I mix this with water....still good.
  • I don' think you need to loose lbs, I think you need to loose inches. At 124 it's going to be hard to make the scale move. I think you need to really concentrate on strength training, and not what the scale says. A very toned 124 is going to look very different then where you are at now. I'd say cut back on your cardio (if…
  • Natures way probiotics are awesome. You need to take them for a month straight to rebuild the good bacteria in your stomach. Yogurt is not going to help u need something much stronger.
  • I take about 3 hours on the weekend and prepare everything that I can before the week starts. For instance. I never ever cook breakfast (I got to the gym in the morning, so I don't have time). I usually make an oatmeal crust quiche. Spinach, pepper, onion, mushroom and egg burrito, and Oatmeal, flax seed banana blueberry…
  • I really think that it takes your mind a long time to look at your body for what it is. I feel like I'm just as big now as I was when I 234 but I'm 178 now and I know in my mind I'm much smaller but sometimes I just don't "see" it. I know that I've had to buy an entirely new wardrobe but I feel like I still have the same…
  • I think after completing P90x you might find Jillians dvds kind of easy. Or maybe not if you do like all four workouts on Ripped in 30. Why don't you look into Bob Harpers DVDs they are pretty awesome. My favorite one is inside out strength. they are only 5 dollars on his website right now.
  • You didn't truely gain two lbs. You have too much sodium in your diet and not enough fiber so your probably constipated and your body is holding onto the water. So its making it apear on the scale that you've gained. The scale will go up and down all of the time 4 lbs in a week is awesome. I will go weeks with loosing…
  • I did alot of JM videos until i discovered Bob Harper and Jackie Warner. I have Inside out Super Strength by Bob, and Jackie Warners Extreme time saver workout, and those are now my favorite. You should look into them!
  • Yup that stuff is terrible for you. Do some more research on it, its quite astounding the number of diseaeses artificial sweetners are linked too.
  • I did Jillians videos for a while and they are good. My favorites right now though are jackie Warner xtreme time saver workout, and Bob Harper's inside out method. If you likr Jillian you would like thses they are awesome...just my two cents :)
  • Maybe read Jillian micheals Making the Cut. It talks about loosing the last few pounds. I know she always says its a lot different loosing the first part of the weight.
  • I LOVE Bob Harper's Inside Out series. And they are on his website for only $5 a piece. They are kind of long and a little bit more advanced but if you've been working out for a little while then I'd get them. I really can't say enough good about them. I started with 30 Day Shred by Jillian, then moved to Ripped in 30, and…
  • I agree with the other posters about meal replacement stuff. Eat more real protein. Also no artificial sweetners. Look at your protein powder see if it has sugars or artificial sweetners such as asparatame, or splenda, or sucrolose. Xtylitol and Stevia is okay. You might also want to read the book "making the cut" by…
  • Is there a reason your using both soy milk and almond milk? If your doing soy milk because you think its healthy its actually not great for you at all. If your not doing dairy for a reason coconut milk is better for you. I personally am not dairy free but I don't drink a lot of milk either. if you want extra protein look…
  • I noticed your breastfeeding. Your body can fluctuate with fluid so much when u are breastfeeding especially if you haven't had a recent feed. Just keep going. There were weeks when I was breastfeeding that I wouldn't loose anything but the next week id loose 2 or 3 lbs.
  • I ate this diet for awhile, and it's just pretty much how I eat on a normal basis anyways. Some good blogs to read are "Marks Daily Apple" He is primal though and not Paleo which means you can eat dairy. "Everyday Paleo" is a good podcast and a good website, I also have her cookbook which is pretty good, and "Rob Wolf's"…
  • I really have to cut down my grocery budget and it’s so hard to shop for that many people with that low of budget. The one thing you have to make sure of is that your not feeding your children crap to make up the cost difference so you can eat healthy. Look up some stew recipes that go in the crock pot, you can do a lb of…
