Go to a department store to get fitted, they actually know what they are doing as oppose to VS. At least that has been my experience. I have found that in my area Dillard's is the best, they have bras in all the sizes (even up to an H) and have all price ranges.

I have the Polar FT4. I love love love it! You should be able to get it for a reasonable price online (like$60). It really is a great one!

I am 5'8" and started at ~213. I have lost some weight since I started (13 months ago) but am at a plateau. I have 10 work outs scheduled a week, but I usually hit about 6. They include swimming, spin, running, circuit (for weights), a step/spin/weights class, yoga and pilates. My diet isn't great as I am addicted to…

I am an H and I wear the wacoal sports bra. I love it! Normal sports bras have too much elastic in them, which allows your breasts to bounce too much, which can destroy your Cooper's ligament (the ligament that makes your breast perky, okay mine have never been that, but that is what they tell me). I have read thing that…

-

I am in! Though I am going change the dates in your spreadsheet to say the 5th and the 19th, since I think that is what you meant :)

Argh! I am at 0! My fence blew over yesterday (bad bad bad windstorm) so instead of working out, I had to work out in the cold putting in new fence posts! While I burned a ton of calories, it didn't help me with my running. Oh well, I'll get ~4 miles in tomorrow. (hopefully)

I got a face mask from BibBon and I LOVE IT! It is so soft and fits perfectly (I got the luxury kind that has little pillows) She is the only one I have bought from, but I look at the site a lot.

I would like to join! I have been doing other things besides run (like swim and aerobics classes), but this will make sure I stick to my plan of running three times a week. Thanks! Jenni

I also recommend a heart rate monitor. I use one and usually burn about 350 calories for 45 minutes of circuit training, but it is a class and the teacher kicks my butt.
-
I always see these challenges, but don't really understand how they work. What does it take? And can I join? (yes even though I don't know how it works I would like to join!)

I wear a belt... Tailoring is an excellent idea.

I have been on BC since 1998 and no change (besides me becoming a couch potato and eating like I was still working out constantly). There have been studies about how that is a myth (in most cases). I have had no problem losing weight while on the pill

I work out on my lunch, but my work has a gym, so that makes it really convenient. You could also try going right after work, before you go home. That helps me too. Good luck!
-
Water aerobics!! I love it! It is so fun, plus you get to be in the pool!

I have never heard of this, but it is an awesome idea! I usually allow myself a treat everyday (thought I don't use do it every day), since if I don't I go crazy. But dried fruit usually satisfies this need (as it is super sugary). Or I will do a serving of candy (not chocolate, good ol' candy). Maybe I will have to try…

I figure that your body will only use what it needs and eliminate the rest through the waste process. So I never worry about taking too many, though I am sure my waste water is quite fortified.

I am also interested in the advice you get. I have a half marathon next weekend and am still struggling with recovery.

I gave up all caffeine about 8 months ago. It SUCKED big time in the beginning (like 3 weeks) but then I felt better and didn't feel the need for a pick-me-up in the morning, unless I skipped breakfast (which I rarely do). So you could try that. OR maybe add more milk to your coffee, that should cut the acidity.

Mine got bigger too!!

I lay out my outfit, including shoes, socks, undies, whatever I will have on my body. Plus I get all the stuff I will need for the race by my clothes. And then I make sure I have a bagel or something for the next morning (I like to eat a bagel with PB before a race) And then I just chill. 5ks are super fun and a good…
